Ugh, tough year for the Huskers... Could be right in the playoff convo but they're gonna fall to 2-4... Those fans deserve better

I still can't believe they fired a guy who won 9 games every year for a guy who can't win 8.

College football is so awesome. You never know what to expect

Could kind of see this one coming a mile a way. Arkansas is a good treat who had high expectations coming into the season. Had a couple tough early loses, but a big win last week.

Alabama is good, but not as good as previous teams and they are coming off a huge win. They are prime for a let down against a physical team.

Loss to Arkansas eliminates Alabama. Georgia was eliminated with their 2nd loss today. We win out we should be good still.

Sitting with my 14 year old son (MSU fan) as they just gave up a TD to a horrible Rutgers team. Rutgers up 14-7 early in the 2nd quarter. I fully expect a meltdown if this game doesn't swing MSU's way.

I am far more upset that any B12 team is getting respect. TCU and Baylor are both absolute jokes.

OSU can win all year for all I care. Especially if they beat up MSU and Michigan.

We are not competing with them for a spot in the playoff anyway, if they beat both those teams.

KSU is running right over TCU. TCU could beat Baylor and mess things up in a very nice way, considering the OU loss today, too.

Sorry but you're failing as a father.

Our only saving grace is the Clemson kicks ass the rest of the way out.

Oh it gets worse. My daughter (13 and not really a sports fan) is a U of M fan.

You're right, that is worse. It's tough to keep them away from the local teams especially with their friends being bad influences. I've managed to keep my 8 year old brainwashed so far in the middle of SEC country. It hasn't been easy and I've made him shed some tears but so far, so good.

That's not our ONLY saving grace though it would be nice. If the Pac 12 and Big 12 continue to cannibalize each other, Clemson could drop a couple and we'd be fine.

Wait, it gets even worse. My future wife is a U of M fan.......

I've done all I can to steer them towards ND. We've been to several games. All the kids and her love ND too. But still.......

Edit. Ok, that's too far, even with italics.

Clemson can only drop one honestly. Dropping a couple means that they lose to a crappy, CRAPPY ACC team, because they would be undefeated going into the ACC title game.

Either they lose once to FSU, or the title game. Or undefeated. Any combination of two regular season losses would be catastrophic.

People who say we need Clemson to win out will be wrong. Wait and see. It's likely we start rooting against them because they'll be in our way.

I let my wife know early on that I would love my son no matter what religion he chose, what political party he supported, what type of person he fell in love with but I would never tolerate him rooting for someone over Notre Dame while he lived in my house. He tested me a couple of times and lost, now he is all Irish.

Yup. A two-loss ACC champion would be better for us that a "good loss" against the eventual undefeated ACC champion.
