Hang on boys, it could get bumpy from here out.

Are you saying that because ND lost the bowl game that recruits may favor away from them?

Just wanted to know.

Personally, I don't think it will. Notre Dame played a great game aside from Rees being...Rees. The defense was doing a great job. The offense had rough times most of the time but FSU has a very good defense, especially run defense...I think 2nd best in the country.

When people see ND playing FSU they think no way..FSU has wayy too much talent. And look, ND had the game in hand but IMO the QB held them back from putting the game away.

I don't think the loss will have a dramatic negative effect on recruiting. Sure some will just see a loss and look elsewhere but for those who saw they know it was a good game and showed a lot of young talent for ND and some potential holes that they could step in and fill.

Really you think we played wll??? Yes the Defense did. The offense sucked pretty much all game and our offensive mind coach got out caoched big time. Other then the one nice kickoff our special teams were that good gave up a long run, missed a FG, Fumbled on a kick off but was bale to get it back. We had one offensive TD and it was on a circus catch.

Just curious how do you get out coached if you don't have a QB that is capable of making "the big play" you only get out coached when you have no glaring weaknesses and lose.

Gonna take a break from the boards, too much dramatics, it's just a game guys. There are other guys now with threads updating recruits status so this isn't needed. The mods can update this if they want in the mean time.

ND is closer than people think. Poor QB play cost us but the D is great, ND has a solid RB and a very good o-line coming back. For those bitching about Kiel, you realize that his commitment had zero affect on the game right?

As for this year, this is just my opinion, but I think we hold on to everyone we have so far. I just do not see Shepard committing so early, transferring schools to play with his cousin and EE, then having to sit out, just to flip and part ways with Greenberry to go to USC. Darby has been committed a long time and has taken 3 visits and is still Irish.

Think Shumate, Wright, and Neal end up Irish. Also rumblings that Westerkamp has flipped.

I'll be back around signing day or sooner, but imma peace out for now.

IMO we end with:

Shumate
Westerkamp
Wright
Fuller or Ekanem
Neal

In that order. If Kelly has a very good in home with Garnett we could land him.

Happy New Year bro!

I agree it is just a game. There are millions of things more important in life than College football recruiting. Kudos to you Jason.
