Well I remember ACamp and some others were talking about new uniforms. There is a whole article covering just about all of the teams who will have uniform changes this year. I've only made it through the ACC and Big East thus far. When I got to Michigan St. I had to stop and link this. nice find, the timing is great...

but they ruined it?? by widening the stripe???.. eh...

I say we break out the black jersey with green numbers and just get it over with.

I think that stripe is waaay too thick. For me, it looks awkward and cumbersome. It's way too thick. If they want a stripe that thick, I really think they should go with the three colored stripes, a la Ohio State. This is all personal taste, and I'm sure we can find plenty of different opinions on any of these uni topics.

I'll pass on the black jerseys, but green away pants and numbers would be cool. I'm okay with changing the pants a little bit, but not too much on the home jerseys. I'm a moderate. ;)

Yup Michigan State finally got their shit together a couple years ago, went back to their old school look, stopped wearing the green pants, and then Nike does this.

Just a terrible re-design by the MSU athletic department.

The only think I like, which I've been saying for years is that they put "Spartans" or "State" in big letters across their chest. They went with the former.

It's too bad they used about a size 4 font though for the lettering.

Their widened helmet stripe looks ridiculous and the green shoulders on their away set and white shoulders on their "third" jersey will get old in about two months.

They also have two sets of white pants with different green striping...both look retarded. And they have some gold trim thrown in there, which as Paul Lukas points out, looks neat but isn't really Michigan State.

We'll see a new set within a couple years.
