Can't imagine he'd be interested in a position below a coordinator and we're full on those.

Lol I love that immediately we start talking about how we could get him.

surprised. bad start to this year, but had Buf improving year over year 11, 12, and 13. Went to bowl last year.... It's not like Buf will ever be a playoff contender.

Right now we are, but if we make a run to the playoffs or the national championship game then our coordinators will become hot properties and someone might try to snap them up for HC jobs.

He was an OL coach too, according to his wiki. So I doubt there'd be room.

Hiestand is one of the best in the business. Ask Zack Martin and Chris Watt. Ask those in NFL circles.

Scenario: Bobby Elliot retires. Scott Booker moves to DB coach. Jeff Quinn comes in as TE coach and co-offensive coordinator with Denbrock.

Nothing but to ignore the potential of the addition of a MAJOR assistant through Kelly's coaching career would be foolish IMO.

I agree 100% ... love our current staff but why wouldn't you be excited about his potential. I apologize for the hyperbole, but he was considered the offensive mastermind with Kelly.

I think Bob Elliott is the OLB coach now, at least according to und.com.

QB: LaFleur
RB: Alford
WR: Denbrock
TE: Booker
OL: Hiestand

DL: Elston
ILB: VanGorder
OLB: Elliott
DB: Cooks

Quinn was only the "mastermind" according to some fans who don't know what they are talking about. It has been and always will be Kelly's offense.

So we need in effect 3 OC's? Kelly is pretty much the OC and Denbrock is more like asst. OC like Quinn had been to Kelly previously.

understood and agreed but the previous guys running the offense were not stellar at it. I know there are a lot of other factors, but Quinn is perceived as the missing link

Didn't Quinn coach with Kelly as OC going all the way back to Grand Valley State?
