Love her. Hawaii won’t pick a good Senator, so may as well pick someone incapable of a competent thought. Fun to watch her get ran around on committees. Possibly the lowest IQ in the senate.

I figured that's what you and RDU were going to say about her. She's like any native Hawaiian. They talk slower in a more measured way, but you guys make an immediate judgement that she's an idiot.

At least you know what you're getting with her and where she stands on things even if you might not agree with her.

People like Ted Cruz and Mike Lawler (and throw JD Vance in there) are the absolute worst as all they do is pander Trump and the party line and their AIPAC funders. They're smooth talkers, but they're vacuous sycophants who stand for nothing.

Hate is strong word. I'm not a fan or a supporter of an aggressive, expansionist, and nationalistic political system that is driven by hate, murder, and annihilation of entire cultures so I do understand the sentiment but of course she shouldn't have said that.

I'm sorry but there is such a vast difference between secular Zionism and the Jewish Religion. It just happens to be that the Zionist movement is of course comprised of Jews, but certainly not all of them.

Fetterman is not joining the Hamas caucus and not regurgitating the talking points on the Iran war. Massie is an ideological libertarian who can’t be depended on for key votes, like OBBB. The two are not the same. If Schumer says Fetterman isn’t maximum warfare enough for Alex Soros and the left, then the team can punt him.

I don't think I'm championing her, I simply said looking at today's field, you could do a lot worse; again, at least she's not a big taker of PAC (esp. AIPAC $) and as far as I can see, she hasn't been a net negative to society and congress - that's a win.

That's the problem today, there isn't much of a competitive field because no one with any smarts wants a career in Congress so we're left with mediocre.
