No. Hatred of a democratically elected President who is lawfully executing his office is not fascism. Even if a court pulled them back on a few things, it’s just a wild and bizarre take.

I would argue we are trending into territory where this is no longer the case. Either because the people around him are lying to him about what he can/cannot do or should/should not do, or because he believes it himself. But this Garcia case is no longer a gray area like it was when the plane was in the air, we are 5 days into pretending we can't drive a guy to the airport.

We're there. We're definitely there. The Garcia case, and cases like it, are maybe the most prominent but look at the staffing cuts they attempted to make that were blocked, the funding cuts that were blocked, the attempts to restrict free press that were blocked (and are now being ignored)...hell it's arguable if Trump even has the tariff power he is currently wielding.

We are in that territory now....

but also notice they are avoiding saying if they agree with what Trump is doing and why...but instead are trying to defend/argue the term fascism rather than evaluating and giving an opinion on the actual policy.

But if he's not lawfully executing it. What would you say then?
Trying to poke holes and claiming he’s violating this or that and challenging it in court is nowhere close. Again, they can challenge him in court and when he defies the Supreme Court, we’ll talk. Legal spin from zoom jerkoffs on CNN and the like is always going to argue he’s out of bounds. Radical district court folks don’t mean much in the big picture.

By this standard- The most extreme fascism from the Oval Office was here👇

The SCOTUS is the one doing the claiming.
when he defies the Supreme Court
He's currently doing so.

This is idiotic. Biden didn't defy the SCOTUS. He abided by the SCOTUS decision in regards to canceling broad sums of student debt and found other (more limited) ways to cancel (more specific/limited) student debt that conformed to the SCOTUS decision. That tweet is PR, not policy. The policy he enacted that he is referencing in the tweet followed the directive and restrictions put in place by the SCOTUS.

Yes that's not what happened and you're clearly arguing in bad faith at this point

Jim Kramer just asked David Faber (cold) if he could come up with any good thing that Trump had done economically so far this term.

(Kramer, by the way, tries to go WAY out of his way to find something good to say every day, every administration.)

Faber was uncharacteristically at a complete loss for words --- dead time on set. He couldn't readily think of anything.

Neither could their third partner (Carl). Kramer pushed them for something. Finally Faber said: deregulation.

Kramer then shook his head and said that he really wanted to find good things, and thought that there might be some for a few companies here and there, but he didn't want to present Gloom and Doom if he possibly could not. He worries about stock market bearish panic all the time, and this is a danger zone time for recessions thoughts.

Like the left did in letting them in against our immigration laws? OK. Sure.

Communists use your morals and decency against you, they have no right or left. There is no real outrage as this bird is of their feather. Just like cheering on the UNH killer - they love to sow chaos, bully and intimidate. They feed on the vast majority avoiding conflict. Make examples by cancelling people or calling them nasty names so the majority stays silent. Nazi, bigot, racist, blah-phobe - whatever gets people to STFU and get out of your way so the lunatic fringe can undermine normal.

If Shapiro weren't a Jew he would probably be president right now. That's on the party of inclusion and tolerance, not republicans.

This will be six pages deep in the thread by noon b/c the commie spambot and company have to scream down the opposition at all costs.

Every person to the Left of Ted Cruz is a communist and woke!

Yeah, I don't think the "C" word doesn't get thrown around a whole lot here by posters. Woke may get used though, I haven't done a tally.

Oh it's up there.

Brother lol, this *very* board called Biden far left, there are posters who have called the Dems communists.

Communists use your morals and decency against you,

I have a brother (one of my four --- the others are not like this) who in a certain way is like Trump. He has a brain (very bright by the way) which has a defect in that it acts like a conscious force moving forward with horse blinders to all other directions, unless forced to turn directly towards them. He also has "mirrors" beside these blinders, which reflect all of reality back onto himself, as if he is the only true referent for anything. (The positive difference between my brother and Trump is that IF you can get him to redirect focus for a moment, he DOES retain some Empathy for others if they are in his focus. I do not believe that Trump has any empathy whatever.)

My experience with my brother gives me, I believe, one other "understanding" about Trump. My brother's blinders and mirrors cause him to blunder forward in his life creating all manner of "rubble" as he does so. His lack of wider perspective has him missing the rubble trail he leaves, unless someone shakes him and points it out. Trump never has anyone doing this, and has adopted the "if you disagree with me, I'll kill you" way of dealing with rubble-making. Having no empathy, Trump wouldn't care anyway.

My brother has managed a decently successful life by ignorance of half his negatives, plus overpowering the other half by talent, will power, and denial. Trump does this, or attempts to, in 100% of his rubble-making. My brother doesn't have unchecked power, plus he had a decent upbringing and family which still matters some to him. Nothing matters to Trump except himself (having no describable "policies" of any depth or long term nature should have given that away long ago. He is not a "Republican" nor anything except an ego unto himself --- Republicans should recognize this and get about restoring Republicanism; at least then we'd have a chance to proceed civilly), and he is systematically destroying any checks to his exercise of greater self-focussed power gratification.

I cannot see why ANYONE cannot be utterly upset with the direction of this. Everyone should want to put a stop to this self-centered madman.

His supporters are:
1. Generally morons
and
2. Pot committed by this point. For them to NOW start turning on him they would have to eat so much crow that they can't bring themselves to do it.

As I mentioned previous, it's why they get caught up on arguing about if Trump is really a "fascist" or not.....because they can't bring themselves to actually argue for/support the actual policy positions or actions. It allows them to never have to address the underlying causes of the "fascist" argument and gives them cover.

Trump supporters are frauds, cowards, and mental midgets.

Now the world don't move to the beat of just one drum. What might be right for you, may not be right for some. A man is born, he's a man of means. Then along come two, they got nothing but their jeans.

Now everybody's got their special kind of story. Everybody's got their way to shine. It don't matter what you got. Not a lot? So what. They'll get theirs and you'll get yours and ill get mine. And together, we'll be fine

He was democratically elected after a historically unpopular President. You can try again in 2028.

I like that you’ve already adopted the Bishop line of deflection where you ignore every criticism because Trump won the election. That’s why you never criticized Biden right?

The criticism is all bogus. May as well be Russian collusion. You may not like him and I don’t agree with everything, but the fascism stuff is partisan insanity. This guys argument was that he had to go. No thanks. We had to watch Biden’s devastation and terrible polls while our country was invaded.
