I’m here for work and basically staying right down the road. Plus Carrie Underwood is going to be there… lol. To say that I have been to one will be cool and I always enjoy the banter and things in the streets. The people’s march and things like that. Makes things feel real as opposed to just reading about.

I’m in DC probably 45-50 days a year. DC is a big sex party. I know a congressman that sleeps in his office Monday-Thursday because doesn’t ever want to leave into the swamps swamp.

I have no self awareness LOL brother, Trump's whole appeal is/was that he is seen as this political outsider....the inauguration is an incredible meeting of all the swamp folks to pat each other on the back. The only two significant inaugurations of our lifetime (last 45 years or so) would probably be Obama's and Trump's first one. First black president and first true political outsider elected. Other than that? Just swamp creatures. So yeah, if you go to an inauguration you're a loser lol.

Also - I've spent more time during the playoff run on the actual sports threads than in here while you and the crew keep everyone updated on the culture war dujour. I don't hate the US, at all, I hate jingoist morons who lack basic understanding of the world which encompasses a large portion of MAGA.

You are surely entitled to your opinion. Blasting people and calling them names for going to a presidential inauguration is idiotic and pathetic in itself. This is you interjecting yourself into a conversation for the sole purpose of throwing mud. I made it obvious I was going and asked if anyone else was… then here comes the non American “people that go are pathetic”. Your intentions are noticed. Fuck you. This is where you come in and say “I wasn’t even talking to you”. Sounds like a horrible time. I love the band Death Grips but if you know their music, it's not the type of place most would want to be in.

Does it make me a Canada hater that I think our anthem is tacky and not good? Should I lose citizenship because I think our supreme court justices look like santa cosplayers with their robes? No, because a sane person wouldn't lose their mind over those opinions.

Interesting development with the cease fire in Gaza. I think Trump deserves a lot of credit for finally putting the screws to Netanyahu to potentially allow this to move forward.

Biden and Harris completely blew it on this issue and allowing the genocide to continue unabated appears to be one of the bigger reasons Harris lost the election.
