One of my buddies named his cat Brawndo. One of my brother-in-laws is also a carbo copy of Clevon from the opening credits.
Also, Terry Crews was excellent, as always.
That's all I got. Great film.

The adults are back in charge! Maybe it was 1D chess to put someone who banged minors up for nomination. But I guess, it was a very savvy move to offer up a sacrifice because that's what serious people think lol. Not a dumb dog loyalist who would protect him.
I’m not convinced that Gaetz would’ve been approved even absent the sexual allegations. There’s a ton of Republicans who hate the dude for other reasons.

While I think it is pretty laughable to paint this as a 4D chess move by letting Gaetz save face, get him out of Johnson's hair, and draw fire away from other cabinet picks, it is pretty astonishing how often these type of political maneuvers that Trump has pulled off throughout his career have actually worked out like this.

I think the right definitely over-estimates the method to his madness, but the left definitely underestimates it. I remember reading in Pence's book about the day Trump was going to announce Pence as his VP pick in NYC, Trump's team leaked to the press that he was set to announce it, and Trump took the podium and went on a 45 minute typical rambling speech before getting Pence on stage. At the time the media painted it as unhinged ranting, but Pence noted after the conference Trump told him something along the lines of "you know why I did that right? They knew you were going to come out and they couldn't cut away, so I just got a free nationally broadcasted stump speech"

Yes he's a terrible pick. I think he could have gotten Ted Cruz in there, and then rolled him into the Supreme Court for example.

I'm betting someone told him to withdraw otherwise they would enter into the hearing record making public some pretty enlightening things.

glad swamp is being drained

When we send $300B their way I'll say you were right. There is a reason DelMarVa is the richest area in our country with so many clamoring to get on the inside. They can't cut enough IMO - I plan on being disappointed.

Our medical system is such a sham. First rule of thumb for the carriers is to deny. Then the doctor and staff have to support additional documentation to justify. Two people with identical maladies. One gets approved and the other gets denied. You might have a problem with your foot, but insurance requires you to go to your GP to get a referral which means having to make another appointment and pay another copay.

LOL - love it. Medical billing is such a sham - good luck understanding WTF you pay for and if it was even provided. Totally by design.
Right? They'll bill you for $4000 in heaven knows what, then your insurance provider will swoop in and knocks out $3000 in "deductions" without paying a cent out of their pocket themselves (not fishy at all), and you're stuck paying $1000 still despite the fact you and your employer pay in hundreds of dollars to the insurance company regardless if you visited the doctor or not that month. Shared health costs pretty much blow in that regard for the healthy among us, good for the chronically ill.

When my son broke his arm in football last year I drove him myself to Children's Medical which was 20 minutes away. There he had to wait for an ambulance to take him to the main Dayton campus so his arm could get reset by a Children's Ortho because they didn't have one at the local branch that day. Almost 2 hours later the ambulance got back and carted him off to Dayton which was less than 15 minutes away. The bill for the ambulance ride was 5 figures, I just laughed. I'm not paying that shit, especially considering the fact I could have just driven straight to Dayton myself and it would have only been an extra 10 minutes of my time.
