It's a status symbol. The Plaid's are 0 to 60, top line dragsters. The cyber trucks with a good wrap, are as good of a P**** getter as the old school Mustangs.
Never ceases to amaze me, the amount of hate that comes from negligent understanding of one's surroundings.

Small town USA, Is not real life America in the money zones. Those that don't understand. Some people just need to get out more often.

The wrap's they put on all the trucks with their odd style and plaid's are head spinning. Everyone looks.

Same with a schizophrenic, e.g. I don't play along and pretend to hear the voices they hear or affirm the delusions they have. I do all I can to get them psychiatric help, into therapy, and on the right meds.

I have nothing against a person who believes he or she is a man or woman in the wrong body. I'm sure it's a miserable, unhappy feeling in many ways. I've treated such people and have a cousin who is trans, so I've seen the situation up close. However, there is absolutely no credible evidence to suggest that it's real and anything more than a mental health issue. Gender reassignment surgery, hormone treatment, and related procedures are treating the symptoms, not the disorder. I feel for you and others in this boat, but I would strongly encourage you to ask yourself if there's anything in your brain structure, your brain activity, your genes, or your physiology that suggest in any meaningful way that you're a woman. Transitioning won't make you an actual woman, and is very unlikely to make you happy or "cure what ails ya" in the long run. Instead, I'd strongly encourage you to seek therapy... not just to affirm you're a woman, but instead to try and understand why you want to be one and what underlying issues caused this.

I genuinely wish you the best and will gladly talk with you, listen to you, or help in any way I can. I would just encourage you to explore treating underlying causes instead of the resultant symptoms.

Bishop I appreciate you taking the time to having conversation about the topic. There's plenty of science that disagrees with your stance and since you're an expert in the medical field I'm sure you've read them. Before I started transitioning, I was a pill addict. I was suicidal and attempted to end my life multiple times. I was in therapy and trying to address any issues that I had. But the issue was my brain didn't match with my body. And transitioning had helped correct that unlike any amount of therapy or anything else.

I played football throughout college, I had 6 shoulder surgeries and 2 elbow surgeries over a ten year period. And I put my body through that because I hated it and myself and I was punishing myself. When that period was over I started popping oxys, norcos, Xanax and any other downer I could get my hands on. The only thing that has helped me is transitioning.

I don't think we're changing each other's minds, but I can safely say transitioning saved my life and my story is not unique amongst trans people
