These people are broken. Broken similarly to the people who shot up their bud light cans or burned their Nike jerseys, but at least they were doing that to property they actually owned

Person getting arrested in MO looks EXACTLY like we'd expect. He's got that weak, soy boy, man bun, living in his mom's basement, #punchingnazis vibe in spades.

When I see someone with a man bun, I tell them this:

You know how a wolf looks at a chihuahua and thinks 'I can't believe you somehow came from me'. That's what your grandfather thinks.

Crazy because the tesla owners are majority leaning left as MAGA doesn't believe in EVs

Conservatives aren't opposed to EV's. We just know that most of the electricity that powers them is generated in coal burning power plants and thus not really clean overall, and aren't interested in attempts to force us to move to them given such knowledge. I've owned a gas/electric hybrid and like the idea of hybrids or hydrogen power, but the whole "Electric vehicles are going to save the planet" claims are naive nonsense.

Well yeah, but you don’t scratch a swastika into property that you own… unless you’re a Nazi. But based on the purple hair, masks, Reddit poster egging on, and physiognomy in those videos, It’s safe to say it’s not MAGA scratching in those swastikas

I think they’re likely keeping the requirement on a 1120 for reporting ownership because there’s important attribution rules but weakening the reporting to a dedicated agency is not good.

Puzzling why the voter ID crowd isn’t up in arms, or the “they only hate DOGE cuz corruption!”. I’m sure we’ll see a unanimous stance against this.

I haven’t made up my mind on this yet and still looking into it. From what I’ve read, the biggest argument against the CTA is that its reporting requirements were too burdensome for small businesses and costly to actually file correctly. From what I’ve read the admin wants to keep the rules in place for foreign owned businesses but not domestic.

You honestly probably know better than most on this board, is it a hassle to report this info for small businesses, especially those with split ownerships

Where did you come up with that? Is there a survey? According to this article the majority are older white males making $150K a year and according to past posts in the politics threads, this would be republicans.

Not just financial demographics but age and ethnicity as well would tend to skew Republican. Per anecdotal evidence but the majority of people I've met that own or interested in Teslas are more tech and finance bros who are interested in the cars for the technology and performance. It's hard to find cars that go as fast as they do for the their price. I've honestly never heard a Tesla owner say they bought it for the environment. Hell one of my co-workers bought one 2 weeks ago and he's gone out of his way to tell people he bought it not for the environment.

That keying is gonna be an expensive way to show you’re crazy. Something like $15,000 for repairs and $10,000 in fines I’m guessing. Dems the party of terrorism.

Domestic ownership is probably more important than foreign in some cases. Due to tax treaties the IRS and CRA communicate pretty regularly for example and can get ownership structures as it's standard on all Canadian corp tax returns (schedule 50 for the nerds). It is a hassle and a real pain in the ass to do it, but it really only needs to be done once and then only when there actually is something that changes the structure.

Let's say I'm running a "consulting" firm in the DC region and I want to make sure that my "owners" don't get any scrutiny when they decide to run for office in the future, I would absolutely support this measure because I don't have to disclose the ownership of the company.

Seems like a great forcing function to get sworn testimony from Biden officials to the extent of his mental decline. If he was out of the loop on any of these pardon decisions, then I think it's safe to say these pardons might be called into question.
