Yes, I remember back then seeing the academic schools on his list and wondering why we didn't make a run and I believe like recent years, Safety was a position of great need that year.

Yes, he was the MI Safety talking about. Has had many starts but apparently edged out by younger players like Makari Paige and although experienced, one of his issues is that he was the MI DB leader in most missed tackles (10) per 24 7 write up... But we need a Safety

We need a safety. But, we can't just take a body to take a guy. It can't be just anyone.

I'm sure DJ Brown and Ramon Henderson would have had starting spots at Michigan locked down, unlike this guy........

Can’t help but wonder what it’ll be like in the fall when we think it’s weird how ND barely added anyone through the portal.

On their latest podcast, Prister and company were talking about how they could use another DE if a quality one hit the portal. They don't seem to be completely sold on JJB.

This may be a guy worth kicking the tires on. Sounds like ND/Smart schools recruiting him out of HS, is the brother of USC's Michael Pittman Jr. and is known as good slot receiver, punt returner and perimeter blocker. Sounds like he'll work to grad soon so he can play right away since he's already transferred from OR to FSU. Since he's considered a redshirt senior, you would think he has 1 + COVID year (so 2 year of pt remaining). FSU WR Mycah Pittman, a starter in 2022, is set to transfer

The PRs announcing his transfer didn't mention that a month ago he underwent surgery to repair a fully-torn labrum in his hip which he thinks he did back in August '22 so he's out 4-6 months (returning anywhere from 8/1 to as late as 10/1 this year). Mycah Pittman reveals he is out 4-to-6 months following hip surgery
