I actually like taking Riley Leonard as a high upside option when you know you've got Angeli, who at the very least will be able to run the offense, behind him. Riley could actually be a 2 year start unless my Covid year math is off.

Unless Brady Cook or Michael Pratt are interested, he may be your best bet.

Riley in his healthy year was the following in stats:

44th in completion at 63.8%
40th in yards per
52nd yards per attempt
48th in TD’s
32nd in ints

Very similar to Pyne like numbers.

He would make more sense if he had two years of eligibility. Moving from FCS is a big, big leap.

The tackle from
Wagner athleticism and skill set is better suited for the blindside. Whereas Jagusah power game and run blocking will play better at RT than Wagner would IMO.

Size is his only issue. He may finally breach 300 pounds this year, and that could be him fully maxed out. He’s also only played right tackle this season. Tosh Baker was always getting the work at second team left tackle.

Any whispers of Keon Keeley entering portal? He hasn’t played 1 snap this year.
ND needed to bring this up with recruits when competing with Bama.
Get ready to hibernate big bear.

I wouldn’t expect him to. Both Braswell and Turner are likely NFL bound. Keeley’s time at Bama is on the horizon.

Both of those are good players but it doesn’t explain Keeley not getting any play this year. They haven’t put the coaching and devrlopement time into him if you ask me. They’ve had to focus on getting other areas right. He was misled.
It’s got to put him behind where he wanted to be.

As long as his Uncle & mom’s checks cleared, they are happy.

Yup. Not saying he couldn’t be more than that but it’s unproven and ND has a first time OC going into crucial year 2 in that role

He looked bad in the attempt at a pro style offense MSU was apparently trying to operate this year. He’s gonna end up at Oklahoma or somewhere like that

OU will probably roll with Jackson Arnold.

Sounds like Rogers had good stats under Leach but really struggled this year (even before his own injury problems) under a somewhat different offensive system

What do you think Hartman was? Only concern I have with maybe 4 new starting OL next year you need a guy whose gonna be a dual threat
How can you have 4 new OL next year? If you're counting Craig and Schrauth they are starting now and will be considered returning starters next year. Spindler and Coogan will also be back.

They aren’t considered returning starters

If Chad Bowman cant get these guys signed and through enrollement, is he officially on the hot-seat?
QB: Will Howard - Kansas State
OL: Jalen Travis - Princeton
WR: Donavan Green - Wake Forest
WR: Eric Singleton Jr - Georgia Tech
DT: Joey Slackman - Penn
Edge: Trey Moore - UTSA
S: Dillon Thieneman - Purdue
