Tickets for this are insane. Normally, as game time nears, prices drop. This one is doing the opposite. The cheapest a few days ago were in the $1,200 range, now they’re $1,900.

Yeah, I've been watching them and thought they were going to go less than $1K. Doesn't look like I'm going. Got to see the first two playoff games so I can't complain.

Same. Got here last night. I’ve accepted the fact that I won’t be attending. What’s everything thinking for gameday? Tailgate? Any bars you’re thinking of watching at?

Gotta buy them within 5 minutes of kickoff.

And if doesn’t work out, you’re shit out of
luck. You’ll miss the entirety of the first quarter and will be hard pressed finding a spot to watch and/or getting a table/barstool

Yes, there’s some risk involved, but probably less than you think if you’re realistic about what you’re willing to spend.

The morning of the IU game, the cheapest tickets were going for $400-$500, but they weren’t great seats. I wanted decent tickets, and those were closer to $1200-$1500 each. I pulled my son out of school and headed to the game, knowing the worst-case scenario was spending about a grand for two shitty seats, and I was fine with that.

I tracked ticket prices throughout the day as we walked around campus. Prices held steady for most of the day but began to dip slightly about an hour before kickoff, and there was a sharp drop once we were wtihin 30 minutes of kickoff. I ended up picking up a pair of tickets for $340 each that would have cost about a $1200/ticket or more if I didnt wait. I would have waited longer but my son was driving me nuts.
What do you think they will get down to?
Tough to say. I was confident prices for the IU game would drop because of the weather. Right now, the cheapest ticket is just over $1,900. It wouldn’t surprise me if those drop closer to $1,000 within 30 minutes of kickoff, but it’s hard to predict at this point. Volume of tickets available on game day may give you some idea. The weather is going to be awful for Atlanta this time of year, which may play a role in travel. That's something to consider.

If you’re willing to spend $2,000 per ticket, I think it's worth a gamble to make the trip. You’ll either get in for less than $2k or you’ll spend $2k and end up with a better seat than the ones currently listed in that price range.

Can't be a bitch like franklin and flinch when you get to the fourth quarter. You gotta have Freeman sized balls and strike when it counts.

Where have you guys been seeing them for $1,200? I've been watching daily on SeatGeek and StubHub and they haven't dropped less than $1,800 before fees...with a rough out the door price of $4,400 for two. If you guys have another site to watch, I need it ASAP...as I'm going to the game but since I live in ATL I can wait a little longer than most.

The issue with this one is the inventory of tickets is already low and getting less and less. No new listings are going to be popping up and the ones that are there people are slowly biting the bullet and purchasing.

If any of you buy off StubHub, make sure to go through a shopping portal. Sites have been offering 8-10% rebates.

I have 4 tickets for the Syracuse game in sec 102. Asking $200 for all four plus included Blue lot/White field parking pass.
