That was before the team was sold to Peter Angelos who has been their worst enemy when it comes to fielding a winner. Should of never fired Showalter IMO.

I wasn’t sure Elias was the right guy to take over that franchise. Boy if I wasn’t wrong he has a lot of young talent in that farm system. And they are developing fast.

Sounds like Mets sat McNeil after he became batting leader but Showalter said he would play him if Freeman passed McNeil.
