Yeah honestly now that you mention it I'm surprised they didn't put in a senior walk on to hand it off and run out the clock. That's a good point.

This is what I had hoped would happen since it’s the last home game & Senior Night. Let the walk-on get some reps. As far as PJ, I agree w/ Greyhammer. If he’s as good as he’s supposed to be, he’s not going to be here for a 5th year anyway.

and if Book is the QB for the next two years? you think PJ is good enough to be one and done even if he RSs this year?

Y'all worry too much. I can see the gripping about a walk-on Senior not getting the nod over Phil but... You can't replicate live snaps anywhere but live football against a foe. It may seem like just "garbage" time to us but it's real time to him. If you've ever played football I'm sure you see the point. 'Seriously' Chill fellas... Saul Goodman

It sure does feel good that one of the few things we fans have to gripe about this year is whether ND burned our future stud QB's redshirt in a blowout game against FSU to get to 10-0...

This is a response to a thread about McGlinchey over at NDNation. Now we can criticize play calling for a lot of reasons, but to claim ND ran none of those in the 2017 season, and you get why everyone else in the Notre Dame fandom world laugh at these guys.

We only have 3 running plays. Its very easy for a competent DC to scheme against them.

Inside zone, outside zone, zone read. Note no power plays, sweeps, counters, traps, etc. Our scheme somewhat neutralized our immense skills on the OL.

After a little film was out there, our opponents adjusted and turned
33 Trucking into 33 Sucking.

The constantly confuse smug self-assurance and an echo-chamber effect with knowledge and/or insight. It's like a psychology experiment about group think.

And after the Swarbrick vendetta, they aren't even laughable anymore.

My 3 favorite parts of NDNation:

1) It is basically formatted like Twitter. All these ND guys who are apparently too good for everything on Earth spend all day on retro-Twitter. Funny.

2) Its an internet football forum. Being a regular on a internet football forum is fun, but its also extremely lame. The amount of chest-puffing and self-aggrandizing posts I've read from a bunch of guys who spend that much time on the internet is pretty clueless. Again, funny.

3) They read other boards and then report back on them like they're famous or important or something. Really they are just so outrageous and mean-spirited in contrast with the rest of NDNation that they stick out. Silly.

But one thing I do actually like about that board is the incredible environment it creates for the occasional poster who does not tow the party line. It is basically the easiest trolling on Earth. Everyone freaks out if anyone diverges on any of their sacred cows. That has to be fun.

All of this is so true. I would love to go over there into Rock's House and just post some of the highlights of McG and Big Q pulling (along with others) just to shut them up. But I can't because they are so self righteous and smug that you have to earn that privilege* over there.

*Which we all know isn't a privilege

...the occasional poster who does not tow the party line ...

Just tipping my tow back in the grammar party line – the saying is "toe" the line. As in "step up to the line, son, but don't cross it."
