Thanks for one of the greatest years Irish!!

Not the final game any of us were hoping for but what a year!! Thanks to many of the seniors that returned to get things done! Thanks to Brandon Wimbush for being such a class act this year. We can all learn a lot from your example. Great job stepping up Ian Book! Next man in!

Thanks to Tillery and Coney for the awesome D you put in. Speaking of D, Alohi. Drue and Julian… wow, great guys, smart and hard hitters. Love? Love to love you baby!

Finke? Chris, you deserve everything you got… especially the respect of the faithful!

Yoon, you magnificent bustard! We will miss your attitude and consistency! Great job son!

Boykin and Claypool? Thanks so much lads! If it was close you caught it! Chase, you were very special on special teams.

I’m forgetting a lot, please add your own but this was a great team. Really blessed that I got to see them!!

Cheers and Go Irish!!

I'm with you on this one. Class act coaches and players resulting in a special year on the field. We didn't reach the mountain top, but it was a helluva 4-month ride. For those players who will be leaving, thank you for the memories. For those players and coaches who will be returning, I'm looking forward to watching next year's team. God bless you all.

Just so all of us can learn from someone smarter than us.

Totally agree. I will not let the bowl game take anything away from the season. This was a fun season and I am already looking forward to next year.

I love thread

Too often when things don't go our way we look at the negative...

We had 4 months of fun exciting football. I got to make memories with my dad going to the Michigan game weeks before he passed..

I got to see an undefeated season for the second time in 6 years... I want a NC badly but i am appreciative of the season we had.

GO IRISH

Many predicted 8-4 or maybe 9-3. Let's recap......

Started the season kicking scUM's ass!
Kicked Stanford's ass!
Went to VT and won on the road convincingly.
Kicked USC's ass.
Finished the regular season 12-0.
Ranked #3 behind the pro teams.
Made the playoffs.

Anyone take that next year?

Thank you seniors for four solid years and great leadership.

Sweet baby Jesus! I knew I was going to overlook a few great contributions.

DEXTER!!!! How in the heck did I miss Dexter? 4 game suspension, didn't transfer and should have been considered in the conversation for the Heisman. In my very misinformed opinion, Williams is the very epitome of the Irish! Grace under pressure!

Cheers and Go Irish!!

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

Yoon is an enigma wrapped in a mystery... there is a great story or thesis to be written about his life and point scoring for the Irish. I don't know a lot about him but I wish I did!!

This was such a great team/bond for The Irish... I'm going to miss them but am hopeful for the lads going forward. I hope Justin gets everything he wants from his degree and efforts at ND!!

Cheers and Go Irish!!

"... "enigma wrapped in a mystery ..." ???

Justin Yoon is Notre Dame's ALL-TIME LEADING SCORER.

Justin Yoon has kicked the Most FGs in ND History which includes excellent kickers like Carney, Hentrich, and Brindza.

Justin Yoon is the Most Accurate FG Kicker in ND History, over 80%.

Yoon achieved all that as a Finance Major in Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business.

And he's a first generation American.

He will be greatly missed.

This football team was fun to watch, this team bought in and you could tell they had a great team chemistry.

I would like to point out the maturity that Coney, Dex Williams, and Wimbush showed. I wish we had 1 more year with Dex I will miss his passion and excitement for the game. When Kiser took over for Zaire to me it seemed the team took sides, not this year when Book replaced Wimbush; Wimbush remained a good teammate and I wish him nothing but the best moving forward.

I was mad like most Irish fans when Elko left for Texas A&M, but Lea picked up where he left off and I think our defense can be better or just as good next year with the depth that we have.

The O-line was our weakest link, but we lost a well respected coach, 2 top 10 picks in the NFL draft, and Bars was lost due to injury. I like the O-line class we have coming in.

I am excited to see what some of our young guys can bring to the table.

Here's to a great season, Go Irish!!

I can only echo the thoughts of all prior posters with thunderous applause for the efforts and achievements this team. The hard work on the field starting in summer practices and in the classroom to achieve their dreams no matter what the odds, winning over all, is the foundation for future successes. Notre Dame is a special place for those few who choose the challenges, who strive for success, and who selflessly contribute to their community, learning along the way that you get more than you give. We always find the best part of a game is the Irish community and linking arms to the alma mater. Thank you for the gift of 2018. You are etched in Irish history.

What a fun season. I have been pretty bummed since the Clemson game, but overall this has been a fun ride and I love watching Notre Dame football.

Go Irish!

Yep great season regardless of the ending. Always great when we can go 10+ games a season.

Hopefully we can go 11-1 or 10-2 next season.
