Glad to finally be over the hump of finding ways to lose big games. I mean, we tried, but managed to pull it out in the end. Defense looks good. If the offense can even remotely figure shit out (where have I heard that before?) this team just might be able to make some noise this season. Jeter appears to be as advertised. Unfortunately, the Aussie not as much.

What’s crazy is that ND has 4 future NFL corners on this team. In my lifetime I can’t recall a secondary with this much talent.

They did exactly what we expected. Stunted the shit out of our left side. But when it mattered the boys put a drive together. Some basic miscommunications between Pendleton and Knapp (who was on the ground too often), but very coachable mistakes. Hell of a win in SEC country. I’m so damn pumped. Such a tough opener but the talent and potential are there.

I watched the first half of TA&Ms spring game and that 11 was throwing big fellas away from him like flies so I expected Knapp to be a lot more exposed than he seemed to be.
