Teams you hate?

I would think that a main rival would be more hated then a team thats has only played each other a handful of times.. I realize the last 3 times hasn't been the outcome you wanted but still surprising to me that the hate for OSU would be more then USC or even UM in alot of ND fans.. Think if you took poll from OSU fans that ND wouldn't be on top spot or even second..

See, if you look at my list below you will notice that ND's main rivals are near the top of my list, it's just a large portion of OSU fans that bumped them up to the number one spot on my list. They would have been on there anyway because at least to me, serveral aspects of their program have given off the vibe of a dirty program over the last several years but it for whatever reason always seems to get overlooked by the media/NCAA because of Tressel's appearance (Cheaty McSweaterVest) and/or relationship with the media.

1. Ohio St. (Their fans put them over the top)
2. USC (Hate/Respect)
3. Michigan (Hate/Respect)
4. Miami
5. Florida St.

Michigan St. (If John L. Smith was still there they would be on my list.)
Illinois (Zook and annoying fans, but their program sucks to much to make my list.)
BC (Fans are really annoying, but once again, what has their program ever won?)

I'm not saying that all of their fans are bad or anything, but I think it's quite self-evident that far too may of them go way overboard way too often. One example would be getting profanity laced insults being thrown at our church youth group and pastor by a drunk woman in her mid 50s through her early 60s at about 10:30am while in line for a ride at Cedar Point the day of the OSU/Texas game last year for no other reason than the fact that some of use were wearing shirts and hats that represented Notre Dame, Michigan St, and I think there may have been a little Michigan mixed in there too.

While I understand the sentiment, I completely disagree. I want USC and UM to go 0-8, 0-9, 0-whatever before they play ND. Then I want the Irish to beat them 70-0. I hate them, hate them, hate them, and I want them to suffer. Suffer for all eternity.

Every time the University of Tennessee gets beat a little ray of sunshine fills my life. I want them to get crushed every week. If USC wins their other 11 games I am happy b/c it is our main rival and makes us look tough when we beat them. Michigan losing to Appy St was really funny but then having them beat us in the same year made the joke on us.

Growing up in the middle of UM/OSU country makes them top the list. I also have an extreme dislike for FL teams and let's not forget perennial winner USC (I can relate to ND haters-hate the teams that win-unless it's "your" team).

I am a Longhorn. If you don't live down here, it's probably hard to hate A&M, but that school has the biggest case of penis envy for UT. Their entire season is based on whether or not they beat UT. They could go 1-9, but as long as they beat UT, it's a successful season. Their entire fight song is about UT. Every cheer they do involves UT. Their "Corps" has flung horse shit on UT band members, pulled swords on SMU cheerleaders. They erect scoreboards for dead dogs. All their cheerleaders are men. They have a "tradition" of squeezing their nuts in close games. I can really go on for hours.

The sad part is, no UT fan really cares about A&M as a football team. Sure, the sun will shine on a dog's ass every once in a while, but overall they suck. We're much more concerned about OU and Tech, so A&M is really the red-headed step child of the Big 12 South. They're wannabes. It's the whole attitude the school has that makes me hate them.

Negative. A large part of my family is Irish Catholic, from the midwest, and by breeding ND Fans.

The only 2 programs i HATE are Bammer and Florida, The others i intensely dislike, i guess.

ND wasn't on the list until Good Time Charlie put on the Blues (and Golds). First, i despise Belichek and the Pats, so, by association, CW. Second, i currently live in Connecticut, where there are tons of ND fans, obnoxious ones, but not like the obnoxious homers on here. They are worse, As for the most part they started bleeding Blue and Gold when CW took over, and were Rah-Rah in your (well, My) face about it.

ND fans aren't any different than anyone elses fans, well, other than the directional Michigans, Buffalo, and that tier, I can appreciate anyones POV, and have good time getting a buzz at the Tavern arguing about best-evers, and 'who woulda wons'.

At least, there isn't a ND frenzy here as much anymore. UConn beat Duke and Wanndspitt, so now i have to hear college kids talk about their great program. I tell them to come down to Knoxville if they want to be football heroes, and they say "What's in Knoxville". If you asked the average loudmouth CT Golden Domer where South Bend was, they'd probably answer "Well, somewhere down South?"

I'm from Hartford. I'm not a loud mouth and I know where South Bend is at.
Hard to believe no one knows where Knoxville is at being there was a big Tennessee-UConn women basketball rivalry...
