Designate standing sections, lower the ticket prices for them, and sell beer in the stadium. Stadium will be hopping, I guarantee it
They had standing sections for (young) alumni back in like the Willingham/Weis years. As a young alumni back then I'd usually try to sit there and it was good. Not sure why they stopped.
Beer, sure, but it flows pretty freely pregame in the tailgate lots, that never seems to be a problem. And you can buy a ticket out there pretty cheap for most games too, if price is an issue.

I'm going to bet the stadium will be louder this weekend than it was last week. A lot of season ticket holders bail and give their tickets to younger family members or they sell them when a season tanks, seen it happen a few times. Happened in 2010 at Utah, saw a lot of youth in the gold seats that weren't usually there. The place was loud.

Best gameday experience I have ever had at the stadium..the shitty weather was just an added bonus.

That was an incredible experience for sure. Good times. Mine is still the goal line stand versus Stanford. You could hear a pin drop and then mass hysteria. It was deafening how loud the stadium was then without a jumbotron playing “Here Comes the Boom”.
Best game I've attended this millennium. Such a game. So loud. So wet I had to go dry out my phone in the oven when I got home.

Man, rewatching that last play, Styles was WIDE OPEN well past the line to gain. Why would any qb in their right mind instead send it to someone with a db literally right on him, 3 yards in front of the first down???

That’s where your HC comes in and says, “to hell with what the right call is against this look. Run the ball”

Tommy and many young OC’s call what the defensive look dictates. Like it’s an exact science. It’s not.

They’ll throw an INT with a pop gun-armed walk-on QB and in the post game tell you it was the right call against that defense. They’re wrong.

And Pyne is a Rees clone. Mayer is his Eifert. Just throw it to him
Cant just have a passing attack that simple. stanford had mayer double teamed most of the time, and look where our offense went.
