Just for the record, I'm picking ND over the Kittens (and not out of homerism, I honestly think we're going to surprise a lot of people just like we did against Pitt in '05.)

But (out of homerism,) I see Navy topping Rutgers as a bigger upset than ND over the State Penitentiary. An ND win over PSU will get more press (I think,) but I think Navy/Rutgers would be a bigger upset.


Also (just a humble suggestion,) maybe start a new thread for each week's shocker to avoid confusion?

guys guys guys.....Wisconsin is not WS.....as someone so intellgiently abbreviated it on page one of this thread!!!! it's WI.....and we are not only in the "top 15" as said poster mentioned, we are tied for #5 with Oklahoma.....(up 2 spots from #7)......

No, I think the person who said WS was actually referring to Washington State. And then someone else saw the unranked in both polls for Washington State and thought that was Wisconsins ranking. He wasn't positive on Wisconsins true ranking, but knew they were up there. At the time they were #7 in both polls and since thats the ranking when I picked the shocker, I don't go back and edited the new ranking.

So you're a Badgers fan? My friend went to Wisconsin and got his hopes up a couple years ago when the Badgers were ranked in the top 5. He said the enitre campus was almost in tears when they lost. I hope you guys learned your lesson, don't get your hopes up. You're team backloads the good opponents so you start out 9-0 every year. It will be a sad campus come November :'( .

everyone was just talking trash trying to rile people up about anything and everything; and I got warned for asking the mods to do something about it. cw should be fired? dude, just shut up; thats not even your opinion, you are just saying that. if you have an opinion to share thats one thing. but when you are saying off the wall stuff just to make people mad, that should be deleted.

yeah, its a select few over there who dont take kindly if you dont win and have the attitude of "Holtz should come back NOW" after one loss. Hate to break it to them but Charlies first two seasons were better than his, his 3rd most likely wont, but the 4th most certainly can match holtz's 4th if not better.

Check out the West Virginia-Maryland sports bet. If you work it right, you can hedge your bet and eliminate all the risk. Say, put 100,000 on maryland and 200,000 on WV. if WV wins, you win 100,000 but lose the 100,000 you put on maryland, so you are back to zero.
