Why does Bryce look more comfortable than a 3rd year starter?

ND defense is overwhelming at the LOS. Can't get home because Brice is getting the ball out, but man is he lacking time. Could easily have 3 sacks by now.

Kraemer has got worked a few times now by the DL.

And we got a poor spot on that reverse. Hope we get a better spot on this one. He was a few feet off unless his knee touched.

Kraemer has looked real rough on a few of these plays.

The defense starting to tee off now

I'd take him over Quinn, of course... But he doesn't want to recruit.

How about Oklahoma State's OL coach. Chubba Hubbard runs wild behind them.

While I take that point, I think Harry's work sort of speaks for itself recruiting wise. You'll just need to show a kid the contracts of Mike McGlinchey, Nelson, Stanley, and Martin and that should do the trick.

Brice isn't afraid to take a hit and stand in the pocket maybe Book could learn something from him.

Why does Bryce look more comfortable than a 3rd year starter?

Because he played at Clemson for Multiple years and had to run that scout team in practice with Lawrence, Wilkins, Ferrell and Bryant coming for him. Then he transferred to Duke to play for a QB whisper in Cutcliffe.

ND is nothing compared to that.

Sorry if this has already been said but Chase Brice looks like Jimmy Clausen, at least with helmet on

Step up in the pocket one time in your life

You're asking for wayyyy too much. To step up in the pocket means you're anticipating delivering a ball downfield, or at intermediate depth over the middle of the field.

You and I both know Ian Book has no interest in doing either.

The DL has toyed with him bad a couple times. Just shed him to stop the run like he was nothing. Not much better in pass pro.

We're going to have get most of our yards on the edge, and with Book throwing on the move if he can settle in.

Book is case in point why statistics and analytics can't be the be all end all when evaluating players. He is 20-3 as a starter, 57 TD 17 INT and tons of yards. But he absolutely, 100%, DOES NOT pass the eye test.

The number of wide open WRs he misses downfield because he's not even looking for them, is outrageous.

Probably been said a thousand times. I’d rather record the game so I can fast forward through commercials. More commercials than game is ridiculous!

Holy crap, was that a slant?

Does Notre Dame possess that high school vertical route in their playback?

Genuinely asking?

Dukes play calling is aggressive and I wish we would take notes.
