Difficult opponent playing very well, lets try to keep a level head. EG looks like a young quarterback, but the throws he has made have been pretty good except for the one to TE where he was covered well. Purdue's DL is legit and they are ready to play, I understand why we came out slinging it but I think we hoped we'd be in a position to pound it out later. We still might, face it we had to see how well we could play this sort of game, too. We won't be able to just run over everybody, like Sparty next weekend.

Amen. People are ridiculous. It's no wonder ND's stadium environment sucks. 1/2 the people are just bitching about his lack of run plays. Seriously, how simplistic can you be in your criticism? It's always a good sign that people don't know much about football when their criticism is just run the ball. That's it. Brilliance.
