Updated depth chart this week?

Was really hoping for Daelin Hayes to get the start at WDE.

D. Hayes is a dude. A dude that that needs to play a lot of snaps the next three games to prepare him for the rest of this season and his career.

Didn't see any mentions in the twittersphere on changes to the depth chart. The reporters are usually quick to mention those types of things before the Tues. presser starts.

All kelly kept talking about is urgency i don't think that's the highest priority.

I can see where he is coming from with his emphasis on urgency. I didn't watch the presser live so some of the fine details can get lost in the quick hit tweets but Kelly can't be oblivious to the fact that in the two losses ND let the game come to them instead of attacking from the opening kickoff and determining pace/style of play.

Texas played their game perfectly: Very fast pace with a quick start with balance on offense while easing in a freshman QB and a defense with just enough stops at the right time on defense.

Mich. St:Establish the run and control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Don't let ND beat you with big plays. They got their lead then really went to work in the 2nd and 3rd qtrs. When ND finally turned on the engine (sense of urgency) things begin to change quickly.

Defense is just letting offenses gameplan and execute that plan as they wish. There is no identity and players are just playing catch up all game long.

Moral of the story offensively ND has to be start fast, stay fast. No letting up, play as if your already down 21 points (which is realistic with this defense) from start to finish.
Defensively you gotta pick something about the offense that your gonna key on and just stop the hell out of that. Do whatever it takes to make a team one dimensional and just say if your gonna beat us it'll have to be one way.

I see what you are saying. But to me that isn't urgency.

Kelly has to be smart enough to see that this offense right now is pass happy. Start out stretching the field and the run game will come into it's own.

Will be at a wedding on Saturday (strike 1), reception is outside near a barn or some S**t, so guessing no TVs. (strike 2).....I'm one strike away from making myself Single ....

curious though, is there a good Iphone App to watch the game on? Its not showing on the NBC Sports app as of now.

Thanks folks

It will be on the NBC Sports App but I believe it only shows upcoming games two days out or so. So I'd say by Friday it will pop up on the app.

No matter the record on the field(though I would certainly prefer it to be outstanding), Notre Dame is still a special place, and a special program:

I don't see what's negative. It's true. The urgency usually comes late. Kizer drives the car.

Our first drives started well balanced but just absolutely flamed. Team looked very blah emotionally. The offense, and most importantly Kizer can't wait to play LIKE their backs are against the walls when they actually are.

I'd be interested in knowing typical practice schedules. I'm assuming team sessions are always at end. After we would start a couple games flat coach would flip practice. Start practice with team sessions.

There's a mental timing rhythm they could be getting in from their typical practice progression. Stretch, individual, skelly, team.

Flip practice on its head break that mental clock. Only would need to do it one practice. Maybe even only a set of 5 plays 1s vs 1s. Just hype it real hard 3rd down scenarios go.

Just ramble thoughts...
