* Henderson is #1 overall.
* Martin is a 5 star, #12 overall.
* Lattimer, Luc, and Hurst all 5 stars.
* Anthony Barr #19 overall, only a 4 star. Another site has him as #10 overall.

Lombard, a five star on scout, isn't even on the list. Neither is Heaps. Seeing Henderson number one is no surprise.

No that's not it at all. Both Lombard and Heaps had poor showings at the AA combine and Rivals puts to much stock into that IMO but that's why there not in the Rivals 100. This was suspected somewhat, however I still expected them to be in the top 100 just not having 5 star status.

Come tomorrow there Top 250 list will be out and they will both be 4 star prospects.

ND is in the hunt for a bunch of the Rivals 100 guys, much more than last year. Here is a list I just read from GH from a great poster, who broke listed all of the guys ND has offered from the Rivals 100 list. Not saying we're in the lad for them, but it's still great that we can even offer them, considering the restrictions we have to face. The list has their overall ranking and their rating:

I guess another surprise for me was Lavey not being on the list. Granted it is the initial top 100 list and the evaluation process will really heat up in the summer. I really thought that kid looked like an absolute monster on tape.

I love the fact we are on so many of these kids so early.

Why are we so slow in offering a scholly to Cassius Marsh, Oak Christian high school, while every football powerhouse is doing so? Brian Polian has been in touch with him and needs to act soon or risk losing this kid. Urban is very interested in this kid and that's enough to prove his worth to me.

Rivals 250 was released today and Lombard isn't even on that one. At least I didn't see him, and that is complete and utter crap. Carter isn't on there either. The lack of an "elite qb" in this class, according to Rivals, seems like there are a lot of hit-or-miss candidates out there. Perhaps although there isn't an elite QB, there is more depth a thndere are many quality QB's. I want to see film on Hinder desperately.

Notre Dame is in play with so many big names, i hope charlie gets the guys kicking ass not only to take back our all time winning percentage, but also to pull in another great recruiting class with this coaching staff. No more Syracuse, Pitt debacles are gonna be allowed this year im guessing. Really glad to see Hurst and Henderson as top ten guys, pull them in and i think we can stop talking about OT recruiting problems the past two years.

Saw Cassius play last year, he was kicked out of the game, got in a fight, generally and I know it doesn't sound great on my part, I'm in favor of a little fighting here and there. He pouted like a bitch though afterward, then his dad came down and chewed his ass. Just kind of left a bad taste in my mouth.

Can't remember the kid on the Left Tackle spot on that team, it escapes me, listed as same height and weight as Cassius, hope we offer him a scholly. Ahhhhh, got it, it was Erik Kohler, and we gave him an official offer......that's what I like to see. This kid is a beast.
