I consider him to be Lord Vader so that’s a sad one. RIP.
Never seen the newer ones, always be Terence Mann to me. Never realized when he moved to Michigan, it was to Brethern where we go salmon fishing every year

Legendary for his voice. Loved how he used it for so many commercials. Almost like he was making fun of himself. RIP James

The irony is he starred in 2 of the Top 5 baseball movies of all-time but was not a baseball fan his self and didn't really care for the game. Was a living legend, may he rest in peace.

I can't wait for the story he writes...

Darth Vader, Mr. Mertle from Sandlot Gang, Mufasa, Terence Mann, King Jaffe, Thulsa Doom from Conan, so many great roles over the years. I loved when he showed up on Big Bang theory and seemed to generally just have fun being a fan of Star Wars, goofing around, and pranking Carrie Fisher  Part of me hopes that was the real James Earl Jones because he seemed like a happy, hilarious, wonderful person.

RIP, James!

106 movies to his credit.

I'm watching "Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop worrying and Love the Bomb" 1964 last week. I see this guy who seems familiar, but is kind of skinny. A quick look at IMDB and sure enough, it was James Earl Jones in his first role.

Steve McQueen's son, Chad, passed away after trying to recuperate from an injury he sustained in 2020. His big claim to fame, other than his father, was being one of the Cobra Kai members in the original Karate Kid. Among the kids in that group he was probably the most gifted and most intense on the screen. Unlike the other members of the group, Chad never made it onto the TV show, but they were planning to have him in season 6 after getting his consent shortly before his passing. He shared a passion in racing like his old man did and apparently had quite a collection of cars and racing memorabilia.

Pretty amazing song writer.

Wrote and performed the song "You're Only Lonely" which reached number 7 on the charts

Co-wrote several songs for the Eagles, including: "Best of My Love", "James Dean", "New Kid In Town" and "Doolin-Dalton". The Eagles recording "Heartache Tonight", written by Souther, Bob Seger, Glenn Frey, and Don Henley, was released in 1979 and became the band's final chart-topping song on the Hot 100.

Don Henley's 1989 hit song "The Heart of the Matter" was co-written by Souther.

Heard You're Only Lonely just the other day. The Heart of the Matter is an outstanding song. RIP JD.

Aww, I hate to hear about Smith's death. She was such a great actress and often hilarious. Loved her in Downton Abbey. She stole every scene she was in.

I grew up knowing her from Sister Act, Hook, and the original Clash of the Titans. Never saw any of the Harry Potter movies. She seemed like quite the actress.

Damn, love Dame Maggie. Just an incredible actress and she was throwing 100 MPH during the entire Downton run. I'll miss her.
