undefeated if our qb stays healthy EG will get better each game and by the time we play usc our freshman cb willbe a sophmore and we owe usc since we are quiters thats our theme and motivation for the year

The only thing I agree with (or understand) is that EG will keep getting better.

We are 0-3 on games played on Sept. 8th; I hate that stat.

Seasons used to start in late September when they only played nine or ten games. They haven't played enough on September 8 for that to even be a crazy statistic.

I'm in line with a good portion of this thread ... said 8-4 all summer, but slightly find myself leaning towards 9-3.

I think we'll split with the Michigan's, just honestly not sure which one is a win/loss. Still say we lose at Oklahoma and USC, and have that 'nervous' feeling on either Stanford or BYU.

Essentially the same crowd that said, replacing Rees with anybody would be good for +3 wins.

(8 wins and 4 losses) + (3 wins and thus - 3 losses) = 8-4

Never did get the new math but I did get Charlie's:

9-3 isn't good enough

Let's revise our predictions when we're 4-0. Until that time, speculation based on one performance is moot.

little did he know that 3-9 was looming

Navy outcome did nothing to change my view. Still thinking 9-3/10-2. Although OK/UM did nothing to amaze me..... with all the struggles, 10-2 or 11-1 looks attainable, but our secondary has a long long way to go. QB was solid, but Navy told us nothing as Golson will see a new level of D very soon.
