Rank and discuss the best divisions in CFB. I divided the Big 12 conference into two divisions based on geography, but the argument could be made that the Big 12 is one 10-team division and should be evaluated as such.

*Teams listed in order of finish in their respective division after 2014 season.

ACC
Atlantic - FSU, Clemson, Louisville, BC, NC State, Wake Forest, Syracuse
Coastal - Georgia Tech, Duke, UNC, Pitt, Va Tech, Miami, Virginia

Big 10
East - Ohio St., Michigan St., Maryland, Rutgers, Michigan, Penn St., Indiana
West - Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Northwestern, Purdue

Big 12 - fictional divisions based solely on geography
North - Kansas St., West Virginia, Oklahoma St., Kansas, Iowa St.
South - Baylor, TCU, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas Tech

Pac 12
North - Oregon, Stanford, Washington, California, Washington St., Oregon St.
South - Arizona, Arizona St., UCLA, USC, Utah, Colorado

SEC
East - Missouri, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, Kentucky, Vanderbilt
West - Alabama, Mississippi St., Ole Miss, Auburn, LSU, Arkansas

Pretty much agree with this top to bottom. Maybe a few minor tweaks, but overall directionally correct. The average from a total conference perspective would still put the SEC on top.

I think you'd have to cut up the Big 12 on a East/West divide. There's no way to keep Baylor, OU, UT, and TCU in the same division. Though I suppose Baylor and UT will probably balance out (i.e. neither will be a power in the same years).

I won't do divisions and see a lot of parity in the conferences this year so my ranking is more of 3 levels.
