Nice touch, brother.

The hulkster has to be losing it right now.

I wonder if they'll set-up some match reuniting Andre the Giant and himself up there in the yonder...?

How many of the great '80s legends have we lost now?

I never was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to work with him, but I know a lot of guys in the business who did, and they always said what a great worker/performer he was, and how he could bring up the quality of any match.

He will certainly be missed.

OH YEAAAAAAA! I loved this guy. Met him once awhile back, right after a show, he took the time and signed all of my sons some autographs and gave them some great advice. " No matter what happens in life, listen to you parents, they know whats good for you" I used that on my sons for years and it still works. RIP BIG GUY.

Macho Man greeted Jesus at the pearly gates as he was about to return for the rapture.

Mach Man: "Not sooooo fast. This thing ain't going down on my watch. I'm the tower of power, too sweet to be sour. I don't wanna have to elbow drop you off the top rope"

Jesus: "easy there, i can put it off for a 100 more years or so"

Macho Man: "Ooooohhhh Yeeeeaaaahhh"

Thank you Mach Man for saving us all

RIP

BooooooooneSaaaaaaaaw's reeeeeeeeaaaaady.. Man, what a great entertainer.

I'll never forget Wrestlemania 7 when Macho lost to Warrior in an epic battle and "Queen Sherri" started beating on him after the match for losing.. and in storms Elizabeth!! She tosses Sherri out of the ring and the greatest wrestling couple were re-united. It was awesome. I was only 11 years old but I was jumping around like a maniac. I watch it now as an adult and it's more of an eye watering moment. RIP Macho Man Randy Savage

Hopefully, WWE takes steroid testing really seriously this time around to prevent this generation's wrestlers from meeting the same fate as Curt Henning, Chris Benoit, etc.

Can't help but smile when I think of Macho Man.

To many...4 ultimate warriors alone.

the wrestling nerd in me has to point this out. Regardless as to if it was a joke or not. The rumor that there were multiple ultimate warrios is false, there was only one ultimate warrior ever and he is still alive today. Ok wrestling nerd time is over time to get back to things related to ND.

I saw this yesterday when I was just goofing off at work:

Von Erich family - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I remember seeing these guys a few times when I was living in Dallas back in the mid-80s.

I first broke into the business in 1981 in Albuquerque, NM. Tully Blanchard's dad, Joe, ran a promotion called Southwest Championship Wrestling out of San Antonio. It was a major step up in the wrestling hierarchy, so I went over and tried out - and worked - for those guys. Even though the Von Erichs were out of the Dallas area, in Fritz's promotion, you couldn't escape their influence anywhere in Texas or the southwest. People would come to our shows routinely wearing Von Erich gear, even though we were essentially a rival company.

The Von Erichs were absolutely treated like rock stars throughout Texas.

Yeah. I remember that. I just can't believe that 3 of the sons committed suicide.

Just unbelievable the tragedies that befell that family. Having a young son accidentally electrocuted?! - I don't know how you even go on after something like that.

Same thing as NFL. Head injuries. I remember after the Beniot incident, his autopsy revealed his brain was so damaged it was the equivalent of a 80 yo with severe alzheimers
