Quick Question About Jerseys

Hey guys,

I'm about to buy a new ND jersey in a couple of days. My question is...

For anyone who has purchased a jersey recently (within the last year), do the Adidas jerseys still fit the same way? My current ND jersey (purchased a few years ago, so it's not old) is a Large and fits great, but I wear an XL in the new Nike NFL jerseys. So I was just wondering if I should stick with the Large.

Man, I wanted to hlep when I saw this, but I'm in the same boat, I haven't purchased any of the new stuff for the same reason...

My most recent one from a year or two ago, fits tighter through the chest. I think most brands have, "slim-fit" their style a little more.

I've actually bought 2 jerseys over the last 4 years, but I don't know if I can really help. I used to wear XL in shirts and jerseys, but after back surgery I've picked up a few extra pounds and I'm more of a double XL now which is what I bought at the Spring game. If it helps at all, when I was trying on jerseys at that Spring game I felt like the XL fit just like the XL I bought 4 years ago...both were just a little tighter than I liked.

I think I'm just gonna stick with the Large. I don't think there will be a drastic change. The difference between my current large adidas and the nike nfl large is pretty big though. I guess I'll be the guinea pig and let everyone know how it goes!

I wear a Medium jersey from a few years ago, and the mediums of today are way too tight. I got a large jersey and it fits pretty nice, a little big, but better than a little tight.

I'm 5'9" 170 lbs, skinny fat though, virtually no muscle
