I think Crist is our best QB by quite a bit at this point.
Please put down the crack pipe and back away.

I think christ will start unless he blows up
Who has the most experience at the helm?
Who has the most seniority and leadership?
Who had been groomed for four years now?
Who has come off multiple injuries, never throwing in the towel?
Crist performed much better than Rees last year.
Tommy has no athleticism compared to Dayne. Tommy has a much weaker arm. His weaker arm causes tight throws to not get to there location on time (ala the ints vs USC). Tommy still knows less about the playbook.
Don't get me wrong, I'm thankful for Tommy last season. But, the defense and running game is what contributed to our success the last 4 games.
If Dayne was playing they still would have won those games. (Molnar said this)
Kelly used the phrase "paralysis by analysis" while taking about Ishaq.
I believe that Kelly put too much on Dayne's plate and "paralysis by analysis" was his biggest weakness. Crist looked like he was over analyzing everything.
Tommy was given a dumbed down version of the playbook. This allowed him to feel more comfortable and just play.
And as for Hendrix and Golson, well they haven't played... So Dayne takes the cake there.
I would be shocked if we didn’t see Crist as the starting QB, taking about 85% of the snaps, and Hendrix running a more true spread/option-oriented package for a few series each game. Golson will keep his redshirt, and Rees will backup Crist. If Crist gets hurt again, Hendrix’s spread/option package could become the primary, with Rees also getting snaps in a reduced “Crist” package.
Barring injury Dayne Crist will be the starter. Anyone who doesn't think so is in denial because all practice reports clearly show that he has separated himself from the group.
