Would like to see more pre-snap movement... Maybe it's coming from Denbrock??

Disagree. When a quarterback splits out wide he's now a receiver and is subject able to press coverage. He should've been ready for it.

I hope we do that to every team that pulls out a wild cat against us as well.

I read the play was over.

Classless. Hope his mommy is proud of him.

People also complain that while we motion a lot, it’s usually a run play lol
They're watching a different team... A receiver moving to the opposite side of the field doesn't do much for the opposing D''s LBs or D-line adjustments on the runs. Or, positioning the ND RB from the left or right of Carr..

Last year, Denbrock had much more movement than one receiver and TE's than this year.

Being able to do it doesn't make it less of a bitch move. It's also a stupid move. All it did was piss off a good quarterback who then shoved it up their ass on the next play. The only thing it did was make that kid look like a cheap shot pussy and then a bitch when the QB scored on the next play.

ZERO good came from it. Zero.

All I'm saying is, on run plays the Irish Offense is not doing resets, shifts, and/or off-set formations on run plays to confuse the opposing defenses so far this year... Basically line up and hand off.

They constantly move the TE and flip the RB.

I think if you haven’t been seeing the TE motioning, you’re in the minority there.

A wr motioning across the field can flip the strength and absolutely changes things.

Tengwall even talked about how motioning the TE in to be an extra blocker isn't really helping on a couple of his film reviews.

That's all Denbrock has done this year... No offensive line shifts like last year.

Exactly 💯.. also, which I probably should have mentioned earlier in my posts... No end-around or jet-sweep runs... There is plenty of speed and WR's to enhance the run game to spread the field

Going along with the notion that Williams is just simply not going through holes... how can a starting D1 running back, let alone a 4 star recruit be that bad? If he is hitting the wrong hole constantly, sounds like coaching issue.

Lack of reps, pressing to make an impact, probably naturally is not good at it, might flip on the HS tape for a look see if it was always there

It can improve but not by next week. For example I don’t think Price had great vision prior to 2025.

His vision and ability to set up his blocks is atrocious. He had another one yesterdsy where you could have driven a minivan through the hole Nd he ran up into the back of his blockers. Fortunately it was so well blocked he was a le to recover and find it and picked up a nice gain, but most middle school running backs could have identified and hit the initial hole.

Small but really an incredible play here. It was IIRC 3rd and 1. Brewu twists across the centers face and basically absorbs 3 OL. Bowen and Traore twist taking the other two. What amounts to a straight forward dive by Purdue gets met by Mukam and Ausberry being unblocked in the hole. Shuler has the cut back lane as well. No chance. And then Brewu doesn’t just stop, but ends up eating up the RB with Young as he tried to bounce it.

It’s a player, DC and DL Coach clinic. This team does not just go out there and out talent people. Every time I see a media person throw on an All 22 I am in awe at the details they play with scheme wise.

An aside Purdue motions the WR and ND just passes it off is why Gray is deep center. Under discussed we basically play a three safety structure under Ash not really a true BS/FS/Nickel.

It only took 21 years, but we finally have a decided schematic advantage.

Imagine being an OC on the other side watching this tape and there isn’t a single place for your guys to run. This is so cool
