I'll add that Michael Floyd simply doesn't care anymore. Unless there's a lockout, he's gone.

With our offense and our personnel, that doesn't exist here.
yeah.....of course it was the play calling (sarcasm).....give me a break...Crist isnt there yet and the D has been neglected for years.....it takes a while to build a team. Kelly is doing what he can with what he has. Give it a rest and let him do his thing....btw Kelly has a pretty good record against ranked teams.
I agree with this.
The only thing I didn't like was that Kelly tried to commit to the run, even though it was obvious it wasn't going to work. He realized Crist was uncomfortable and severely dumbed down the playbook to boost his confidence with simple play calls.

Did he tell you that he doesn't care? I would guess that he is disappointed in his role to some extent, and maybe in his QBs accuracy.

My fanhood is just slowly dying, I just have no motivation to watch ND anymore.
He's frustrated because he isn't getting the football. This has led to laziness and half-assed routes.
this will turn around...it is the time frame that is the issue.
i'm taking the patient route and hanging around this season to cheer the boys on. i don't think we are that good of a football team, but i'm sure bk's getting some talent on the recruiting trail.
today was tough to watch, but it was a glaring reality that we don't have depth at key position and our veterans have suffered under the previous regime.
go IRISH!!!!
I guess that is all we can do....good news is that I think these next three games are winable....
my thoughts immediatly go to the verbal commits we have now...hope we can hold onto them ...since they will be part of the answer.
Did anyone see the press conference? What did Kelly have to say?

I'm curious why Kelly did not shake Harbaugh's hand after the game.
ND is about more than wins and losses. While the wins and losses are certainly important, there are not ALL that there is to the Notre Dame mystique.
i didn't even notice, now you've got my curiosity going.

Did you get that from Bob Davie or Ty Willingham? No. No. It was Weis right?
I didn't either, but I saw a few posts on the board. I hate Jim, so I would never shake his hand. Kelly on the other hand doesn't strike me as that type of guy. I wonder what happened.
I noticed that as well....and brought it up in another thread...
hmmm.....BK looked pissed...
