Played sloppy and still won. If this team plays clean and stays healthy they can hang with anybody.

History=repeating

Made a point tonight to tell my friend (Purdue fan) "Can you please condense your one game season of flawless planning and execution to the Ohio State game?"

Good riddance Purdue. Not missing the ball scrapers........

It's amazing to me that Kelly is wiping the floor with third string players. This guy is a good coach.

Wasn't pretty, but it's a win. Bye week coming up at a great time; we desperately need it. Lot of injuries, and a lot to work on.

The depleted defense played great in the 2nd half. The offensive line was junk tonight, for the most part.

I think we'll come out focused and handle Syracuse... Stanford will be a good one.

Just glad we won.

It's nice to feel that way and win 30-14. I keep looking at that score and thinking "hmm... well that's not so bad."

Let's get things cleaned up and become the team we are capable of just in time for the real schedule!

A solid W.

OL could certainly pick it up.
Golson played well.
Did not see much with the RB's except GB's YAC.
Prosise looked good.
Kolin looked good.
Brindza's KO are pretty good-we'll be seeing him on Sundays.
Joe S. with the nice pick.
Butler came in to play well (U2 Tranquill).
Overall, somewhat pleased with gutting this win out.
Crappy that Max was pulled. (by the refs-ejected)

OL needs a ton of work. Central Michigan ran better against them than we did.

WR need to win at the like of scrimmage and make a play. Need to be more consistent there.

Offense needs to develop beyond EG. Too much pressure there.

Need to get resolution on the Five Coursemen to add depth to the secondary. And get Collinsworth healthy.

Need a positive injury report. Hope it doesn't read like a MASH unit.

-Elmer is not a tackle, he should be playing guard and McGlinchey should be playing tackle.
-Chris Brown and Ben Koyack have been disappointments thus far.
-Jaylon Smith was huge again.
-Tanquill and Butler both looked good.

I expected more out of our offensive line. May have to switch it up on bye.

LOTS of injuries and players out including C Lombard and A Trumbetti didn't play at all.

Sloppy, or with a lack of enthusiasm - especially on defense in the first half?

And what the heck is with our offensive line?

- WRs are #2s at best. Particularly disappointed in Brown all year.
- OL was average at best.
- Couldn't get a running game going, but Bryant is able to make the most out of nothing.
- Injuries, FACK.
- Defense played real well in 2nd half.
- Happy for Butler!
- Need to get healthy.
- Fuck USC!

Agreed. If we exit the BYE week with no resolution, then I want that admin fired immediately.

OL was disgusting. No way around it. Simply the worst game I've seen under Kelly from the O-Line's perspective. Hiestand has A LOT of work to do.

Can't say much about the non-existent run game, since the line was almost solely responsible for it.

Need better pressure. No reason that Etling, a guy who was horrible against a Michigan directional school is passing circles around are secondary, depleted as they may.

Agree re Koyak; has been a major disappointment his entire career.

Was really hoping he'd wake up this season.

I don't think that Koyak has played that bad this year. He isn't going to take over the game but he had some nice catches and Golson missed him once or twice long.
