But you don’t. You can maybe pretend but you’ve fabulously displayed you’re in it to score points. You can call me insecure if you wish as you parade around like I’m some poor from the dusty ass crack of America in NM, I agree the place sucks. Or that I’m a spoiled brat because my family has money… but you’re just playing on stereotypes. Or maybe I’m a radical Christian for going on missions trips… or that I’m QAnon for liking the movie Sound of Freedom. We disagree on things and you immediately drop the phobias and the ists. Those aren’t intellectual arguments, those are your own “ad homonems” you accuse others of using.

Because you are transphobic? lol. Don't say stupid shit if you don't want to be called out on it. You can't vice signal about how horrible xyz things are and then get mad when you get called out on it.

I use them too, I just don't shit my pants when you do it and then play "oh you're just on here to score points, wow so sad". If you don't want to play in the mud don't get butt hurt when I clap back.

Gender affirming care is given to cisgender people all the time. Messi receiving it AFFIRMED his gender as being male.

Similar stories like this spring up. With removing gender affirming care for kids you open the door for countless cisgender kids to not receive treatment they need.

This poor kid was growing breasts as a 12 year old boy who wanted to not have them anymore. If we’re going to take the full stop “NO” that you/Irish#1 have argued for hurts not just trans kids but cisgender kids too. I can’t believe “leave it to the doctors” is causing this much a stir.

200w.gif

You are objectively wrong, my guy. Read it again:

Gender-affirming care, as defined by the World Health Organization, encompasses a range of social, psychological, behavioral, and medical interventions “designed to support and affirm an individual’s gender identity” when it conflicts with the gender they were assigned at birth.

Messi was not born a woman. He did not receive gender affirming care.

By the way, I caught this rare legit unicorn the other day. It's 100% real. Would you be interested?

There's no need to keep score with you lol. This is the Globetrotters vs Generals.

"Linked" I haven't seen something more entitled than that. Talk about not making your own way for yourself. No wonder you're on here speaking about how society is crumbling or how multiculturalism is destroying nations. Putting bike chains on kids bikes in nowheresville New Mexico isn't exactly Wall Street, so I guess it does make sense that someone else has provided for you. Maybe the kids at the bike store didn't respect you because you acted like an entitled brat who's just using Daddy or wifey's money to play boss for a few hours a day.

You couldn't afford me anyways, now your parents or wife might be able but I'll let you bring coffees if you promise to be a good boy.

I'm saying outlawing entirely from happening to anyone below the age of 18 is wrong, I want the doctors to be the ones to make that call not you or I. There would be no Lionel Messi without gender affirming care.
I have this hunch that if you had a child that was adamant they wanted to change and the doctor you took your child to see said to wait until they were of age, you’d find another doctor.

That reminds me of the parent that was crushing up hormone pills and adding them to her daughter's food when she started to have second thoughts about transitioning. Trust the parents and the doctors to make the best decisions!

Messi had a hormone deficiency that conflicted with his assigned gender at birth!!! lmao he couldn't continue developing as a male without it! He took them to AFFIRM HIS GENDER.

Why are you ignoring what doctors are saying? I showed you another example of a 12 year old boy who had to get gender affirming care, totally removing any care for children is going to impact cisgendered kids. I thought it didn't matter the number but the morality? Guess it's only when it hurts trans kids it's cool to also hurt cisgendered kids too. Flawless logic hahaha

I have this hunch that if you had a child that was adamant they wanted to change and the doctor you took your child to see said to wait until they were of age, you’d find another doctor.

Crazy assumption to make. However, unsurprising you're just taking the "Opposite of what TorontoGold says, and when he says something I'll just not believe it and make up something" postion.

1) score - don’t need to keep score when I’m right.
2) ad hominem - Yes you do it and so do I? I’m honest about doing it, I just don’t initiate it.
3) Feelings - Yeah I’m not pouting about big bad meany words because I know I said dumb shit too. I’m slinging shit the same as you are.

Culture. There is a ton of money there with retirees and government/military/border security and even the university. They just blow it on stupid shit. It’s hard to explain what a poor mentality is but NM is it. They live for the day not for tomorrow. As far as work, they have coined the phrase “land of mañana”, meaning they will get to it tomorrow… the apathy toward work fits that mantra. We built homes and buildings and it was the most frustrating experience of my life getting workers to show up. Even getting permits took forever. We were done building a house before we got permits to start.

I was a state social worker working with families and in the juvenile prison system. I owned other types of businesses as well in Las Cruces and El Paso. Post pandemic drugs made it unbearable for me personally along with the extra crime. It’s a whole different culture down there than even Northern NM.

That’s when it specifically is for care of a transgender person, which is where this is located when the WHO discusses this. I don’t know why you refuse to understand that non-trans people receive this type care.

By ignoring the fact some 12 year old cisgender boy received gender affirming care I’m guessing you’re ceding that point? Or do you think he was mutilated and should grown breasts and be made fun at school? He doesn’t matter, just that trans kids should get fucked haha.

Receiving treatment to specifically align you with your preferred gender if gender affirming care lmao.

Oh my. How did I miss the stupidest argument ever made on Irish envy. Lionel Messi had a growth issue not a sex or gender issue. If he didn’t take HGH he wasn’t going to grow titties or a vagina. If he would have just let it go and not take HGH the doctors suggested he would have been short, maybe 4ft 7in. Being short and wanting to grow taller is not gender affirming, it’s wanting to be taller affirming. Lordy you are stupid. Are you also making the argument midgets are all women?

Take a look - let me know what the bottom Gender incongruence and transgender health in the ICD

Like I said before, the addition of the sex birth part is specifically relating to transgender kids. The medical community has already said cisgendered kids can receive gender affirming treatment as well. The 12 year old boy that you are ignoring and clearly don’t give a shit about because “tranz iz bad” would be harmed.

For someone who supposedly was helping or acting as a social worker you really don’t understand gender at all lmao. Taking supplements to be more masculine is part of affirming your gender. Guess your talents are better spent throwing bike chains on a bike if you can’t comprehend how gender works.

Right, and context is probably important. Notice that the page is titled "Gender incongruence and transgender health in the ICD" Is it labeled "Gender affirming care for soccer stars suffering from a hormone imbalance and confident in their gender identity?"
I took the definition from the AAMS website BTW. Here's a few more from :

-Gender-affirming care is generally understood to be medical care that many transgender and nonbinary people need as part of their gender transition.
-Gender Affirming Care usually refers to providing medical treatment to people with gender dysphoria to help align their physical as far as possible with their chosen gender.
-Gender-affirming care is a supportive form of healthcare. It consists of an array of services that may include medical, surgical, mental health, and non-medical services for transgender and nonbinary people.
-Gender -affirming care is medically necessary for the well-being of many transgender and non-binary people who experience symptoms of gender dysphoria, or distress that results from having one’s gender identity not match their sex assigned at birth.
-Gender-affirming care is medically necessary, evidence-based care that uses a multidisciplinary approach to help a person transition from their assigned gender – the one the person was designated at birth – to their affirmed gender – the gender by which one wants to be known.
-Planned Parenthood believes you deserve high-quality, compassionate health care — no matter your gender identity. Most of our health centers provide hormone therapy and other gender-affirming services for transgender and nonbinary patients.

Notice the pattern how they all refer to either patients with gender dysphoria, or trans/binary patients, or transitioning? Just take the L already, you keep digging this hole lol. A hormonal treatment doesn't mean you're getting gender affirming care. My mother has an issue with her pituitary gland as she aged, she gets hormone treatments as a result. It doesn't mean she's getting gender affirming care.

I was going to say that your whole premise with Messi is based on a lie, why should I waste time with the 12 year old story? But, I gave you the benefit of the doubt and read it anyway. You gave me an opinion piece, and by a self proclaimed political satirist no less. That's some strong evidence! Thanks for wasting my time. Sorry, but his case, nor Messi's, fits the definition of "gender affirming care."

Everybody is born with both male and female hormones. Sometimes a person is low on one or the other and doctors will start treatment to bring the reduced hormone back into an acceptable balance. This isn't gender affirming, it's just hormone therapy.

This is true. I have always been over flowing with male hormones and, fortunately, been able to allow doctors to extract it and help the unfortunate.

Ahhhhh there it is, the story can't be true because it's from someone who doesn't align with me politically LOL. As if this would be the only kid who's gotten this surgery.

I'm glad you're so adapt at determining gender affirming care, despite what medical professionals say, you know better than them!

This is literally the definition of gender affirming lmao. Bringing your hormone levels to your perceived gender norms is what gender affirming is about. You're not trans (Ew!) if you get hormone supplements, people do it all the time.

You linked the same one twice lol. First two lines:
Gender-affirming care is almost exclusively discussed in connection with transgender medicine. However, this article argues that such care predominates among cisgender patients, people whose gender identity matches their sex assigned at birth.
Key word "argues." He's trying to make a case that goes against the currently accepted standard that gender affirming care is for trans/binary people. So, one doctor against a million. Well done.

You literally linked an opinion piece by a guy that's a satirist lol. Why would I bother to check his background whether he aligns with me or not? Why does his opinion matter? How long are you going to dribble and try to run out the clock?

Of course I'm adapt at determining gender affirming care is for trans/binary people, it's literally right there in the definition. It's a little worrisome that you're not capable of understanding a basic definition, quite frankly. Can you tell us what a woman is, or do you need a doctorate for that?

Changing definitions is part of what the left does. If Toronto can say this is gender affirming then how can you be against it. This is how they normalize it. He’s a 🐑
