• Which GOP specifically voted to expel the black men but not Johnson? What reasons did they give for voting? Is there anything in their past that would indicate racism, or is this just the easy excuse?
• Which specific house rule did they break, and what is the punishment for breaking it?
• Who specifically chose not to expel the pedophile, and what were the reasons? Could there have been any precedent or potential downstream effects from expelling a member for pre-election conduct?

I dont take anyone too seriously and Try to not get too personal but there are topics that do and at that point I try to realize it’s just a forum and that for the most part I could have a beer with most everyone on the site except drayer. I’m not the only one who does this 😂 and I’m certainly not trying to change hearts and minds. I have good respectful sparring with numerous people here. It’s all in good fun.

This is who Cack is. He is a troll. He posts stuff for no other reason but to get a rise from others. There are certainly others that do this as well, but none come close to Cack. He likes arguing, just for the sake of arguing. He posts "crap" off his twitter feed that is too numerous to count and when called on stuff likely not being true, replies with "I’m not doing your research for you."

I’m not any of the other mods. They are not me. They don’t come in here because they don’t want to come in here. I’m the only one who even partakes in the politics threads. It’s not even moderated at all. We don’t have mods on the site like we used to. The owners are the only ones who mod the site and none of them but me are in the politics forum. This is well known. Occasionally ……Lax will post in here but that’s it so what?

Much better, and I think that is because posters now understand what it is. You have to have thick skin in here and the people who inhabit these threads all have thick skin, can take criticism and give as good as they get. If you can’t accept this dynamic then that’s on you. Not me. I post things no different in content or voracity than drayer or blazers or any one else in these threads. It’s daily political news.

You can take my precious posts out of context all you want but the simple point is that political news happens daily and it’s interesting. Oh no… I enjoy posting and seeing what others post. Politics is a polarizing thing. We all know this. Deal with it. If you can’t handle the polarizing aspect of people posting political events then this isn’t the place for you. We agreed that this forum can’t really be moderated and as long as there are no personal attacks and that things remain generally civil between posters then that’s best it can be.

We are not solving world hunger in here. We are not convincing anyone of anything in here. Our posts have zero effect on the outside world It’s primarily confirmation bias anyway. If you can’t understand that then this isn’t the place for you and you should probably stick to other forums on the site.

Relax and have some fun and remember it’s not personal. I love this site and love the posters. I have zero personal problems with anyone o the site. I’m glad I could do a small part to help purchase the site and keep it going and I love the fact it’s held and owned by people who love it and wanted it to keep going. Everyone can post what they want and I understand not everyone posts in a manner others agree with. I get along with pretty much everyone except two people and I don’t engage with them at all.

To repeat from previous posts:
We do have an ignore function that works very well. I recommend using it. It’s very helpful to remove unwanted content from your feed. If I offend you or upset you then please put me on the ignore list. I’m totally fine with that. I’m as much a poster that I have always been. I’m am me and no one else.

The leader of the house was just on the radio.

1. The instigators Pearson and Jones disrupted the hearings and didn't follow protocol.
2. They brought a bullhorn and started protesting on the floor. They didn't protest outside of the chambers.
3. They were asked to stop, but continued on for 45 minutes. They gave them plenty of time to stop before getting expelled.
4. Johnson wasn't expelled because she did not use the bullhorn or actively disrupt the proceedings.

Yeah, sure seems racially motivated.

I don't know who the most ignored poster is, probably one of the newer trollish guys, but Cack gets a special exception as he had to have his admin account downgraded just to allow people to Ignore him. That's Hall of Fame worthy!

In truth I'm not a fan of the Ignore feature. I've not used it yet, although I've been close a few times. I would rather people just work out their differences or agree to disagree. Discussions are more fun when there's other opinions. For the same reason I'd rather not see anyone get banned, but there are some times people just can't follow the rules and it's warranted. Being a mod is a thankless position, and if someone is constantly giving them trouble without amending their ways it may be time for the boot.
