I’m not really understanding what you are saying. Who is “scared” of trans people? Just because you disagree with something you assume the reason is fear based? That’s leftist logic. I do think about the impacts our “progressive” norms have on our society. As our society “evolves” the dumber and more violent our society becomes. We are moving further left but yet disregard societal issues created by progressive norms being pushed. We live in a generation of confused young men that lack purpose and yet we blame the gun when a confused suicidal young man shoots up a school. We break down “social constructs” and then blame the other side when society falters.
I'm saying that those who choose to pick on a group of people who are different and just want to belong are not strong, by any means. Whether it's being scared, ignorant, or hateful - those are not traits of a "strong man".
Society has been getting progressively less violent throughout history. There is a reason the most progressive places in the world have the least amount of violence and the highest standard of living.
The blame falls on the gun because you see other countries that have similar societal pressures and have exponentially less gun violence. The tradeoff for owning a gun is having higher gun related crimes, there is no "both" option.
These constructs have been relevant for 1000's of years and there is documented historical precedence for people being non-binary. This isn't new. The uproar that is being seen now is reflexively towards the acceptance that these people are finally receiving in the mainstream. Similar to how many of the confederate statues were added during the Jim Crow era or the 60's. The outrage is done to remind those there is still prejudice out there and that those groups should know they are still considered inequal members of society.
If people truly cared about "mental health" or "children" they would address the material issues that go unaddressed.
