Eliminates the cap on wages that are subject to SS and Medicare tax.
Changes the index that the SS Cola is tied to. Instead of tying it to Urban Wage index it’s some sort of cost index made up of things that Seniors typically spend money on.
Extra $2,400 in payments per year to SS recipients.
Greatly extends the date when SS becomes insolvent 75 years. Not sure why you don’t reduce the $2,400 in annual payments and make so it never runs out.
The Social Security trust fund is expected to be depleted by 2035, which could lead to benefit cuts unless Congress acts to shore up the program.
