The true believers or MAGA diehards can’t accept it. If some more less Magaty persons accept some things happened it wasn’t a big deal but that is how they justify all the horrible shit Trump did in office. I guess they have to sleep at night. That’s my opinion.
But should I consider them "some Republicans"?

I don’t think the issue was taking people to sanctuary cities. It was the way that the they have been busses to places not ready to receive them or dropping them off at the VPs residence in the middle of winter.

Seems Hobbs is doing it like it should have been done by GOP are too shitty of people to do it humanely. Again trying to make peoples lives as hard as possible is their common agenda.

"We’re sending migrants to cities they actually need to go to and be connected with their sponsors, and we are doing it in a more cost effective way by looking at all travel options, not just buses," Berry said.

She did not provide details on how many migrants have traveled under the new contract.
That is because no one outside of the border states was doing anything about it. Right or wrong, the border states did this to get others to participate now instead of putting it off. I believe there's an article out there about the mayor of NY who is trying to move those sent to NY out of hotels and into something akin to detention centers.

It’s just wrong to put people on a bus and ship them somewhere without the destination being aware. It’s shitty at best and inhumane at worst. Regardless of what attention they were seeking the people they were bussing were innocent of any political posturing and shouldn’t be made pawns. All Abbott had to do was tell a sanctuary city we are sending you some people in need of sanctuary. He didn’t do that. He hissed people to Martha’s vineyard without telling anyone. They bussed people to the VPs office at night in the dead of. Terrible winter storm and didn’t tell them.

It’s shitty and fuck him and Any other governor who did it for doing that.

They're unfortunate pawns no doubt. I suspect that if he were to call the Mayor of NY or whomever and tell them there are a couple of buses coming your way, there would be state or local police waiting at the state line or city boundary waiting to turn them away.

Glad Mayor Pete is on top of the job. This train derailment seems like a big deal and does not get much space.

It's just wrong to let thousands of people at a time cross into our country without background checks, possibly with drugs, and without resources to flood border communities. It's cruel to ignore the problem and pretend it isn't happening or to lie about it not being a reality boldly. Small towns getting flooded by the hundreds are not equipped to provide resources like large cities such as DC, Chicago, and NYC.
When our government in DC ignores the problem and implements policies that only make it worse, it is necessary for leaders to take action.

I commend those sending immigrants to cities better equipped to handle their needs. It also gets the attention of the party in power. The same party is causing and ignoring the problem. It's shitty to ignore this problem and fuck anyone in this administration who continues to pretend it doesn't exist.

If the administration won't address or fix the problem, you have to take the problem close enough that they can't ignore it. Also, why should sanctuary cities not be involved in the solution?

It's not like anything is going on. Does democracy still die in darkness?

She has been bussing and sending people out but she has done in a way where they get where they need to go and have people waiting on them when they get there.
The gracious people of Martha's Vineyard weren't willing to open their homes and community to these migrants?

The community most certainyl did.... did you not see what they did? Those people wernt supposed to be there and they had no ties to place so they helped them while they got them where they were supposed to go. Their forms were filled out intentionally incorrectly and sponsor destinations were filed as far away as Washington state basically making it impossible for them to meet their sponsors therefore making them a criminal and risk of expulsion for not reporting to their sponsor on time. They didnt do that. The people in Florida who completed their paperwork did with intent to harm them. Whatever dude Im not convincing you of shit... lol

I guess calling the National Guard and having them shipped off to a military base was their way of welcoming them to their community.

Since it's acceptable to use 10+ year old quotes/positions, I ask that you ignore the author of the tweet. I spent about 5 minutes searching for just the video, but couldn't find it. I am only posting something from this account because of the video. She's officially a candidate now, so I'm sharing this.

"States do not have the right to unilaterally secede from the United States, so the Confederate states during the Civil War always remained part of the nation."
