I guess Trump isn't alone. Even the leftists want to get in on the act.

Calling Castillo a “leftist” in the traditional sense as it relates to Central and South American politics isn’t accurate.

Nah. Just the ones who plan coups, espouse violence and Christian nationalism. But I’m sure you just forgot about that stuff.
The GOP did not plan a coup. A few hundred whackjobs stormed the Capitol and were arrested and charged.

The only violence we see is from Antifa. Libertarians and conservatives aren't dressed in all black in the streets engaging in violence with people they don't like.

Blasting Christianity (and its strong influence on the foundation of our country) on a Notre Dame website is laughable.

A lot of people that didn't know who Viktor Bout is this morning are going to be incredibly angry he was part of a prisoner exchange by lunch.

Yes indeed……nothing against Griner but this was certainly not an “even” prisoner swap based on the transgressions of Griner vs. Bout…..not even close. Russia certainly got, by far, the best of this exchange.

It was never going to be a fair swap. I also get the outrage for the military guy still there. She will probably still take a knee…

Agree. Isn't his nickname The Butcher or something similar?

I wouldn't have traded a sack of used basketballs for Griner. If she had been framed or falsely detained then by all means do what you think you need to do. But by all accounts she was rightfully arrested and we bargained for her with a high-value criminal because she was famous. Makes zero fucking sense and is unfair to normal people wrongfully behind bars all over the world.

Watching right/left-wings argue who is more worthy of release between Whelan/Griner is like watching two children fighting over who gets to eat a turd.

Ron Klain is terminally online and only cares about Twitter likes so...it makes perfect sense to him and those in the White House.

Oh well. It is what it is.

I’ll get flack from Toronto and Cack, but if Whalen was indeed an option and they chose Greiner than this was done to pander.
Imagine getting Whalen back instead. Bidens approval rating would bottom out, sadly. 100% political pandering if this was the case.

You still can't tell the whole class what the big conspiracy is. Sad. Memes are the only answer for a non-serious discussion with no real direction. Typically when there's a grand conspiracy afoot the audience at least can say what they think is happening, here? Oh these people got big follower spikes....cuz reasons!

It's quite obvious what I'm saying: Twitter algorithms can be tweaked at any time to filter or unfilter content. Twitter employees admitted to targeted content moderation in a 2018 Project Veritas investigative report. You can watch the video.

Do you truly believe that employees can just go in and adjust Twitter algorithms when they feel like it? Hell, QuickBooks has auditing procedures to show who accessed what. I'm pretty sure that uhhh Twitter has some pretty good audit trail evidence on who has access to those algorithms. This would require multiple levels of people to be in on this conspiracy and carry out the plan. Additionally, these people who have access to Twitter's algorithms would need an incentive strong enough for them to risk their job to carry this out. I'm guessing people with read/write access don't come cheap. Oh and what's this all for? To move around Ted Cruz' followers to achieve....what? Oh no, he has 5.15M followers when he should have 5.20M followers (of which 10% are bots).

Project Veritas? Now we're getting into the good stuff. I hope Andy Ngo has a investigative report ready to go with it.

My job is literally understanding and assessing risk. There is a clear lack of motive, gain, and material impact by this (if it's true). Personally I would do it to fuck with these people because I know how much they would care about these things.

Sure. Twitter employees were caught on camera admitting as much, so yeah, I believe that.

And you don't understand how software development workflows work. Twitter runs an automated CI/CD pipeline with async code reviews. Updating ML weights or content filters is a simple configuration file change, a few quick code quality checks, and a commit button. None of this touches core algorithmic code. My company updates our ML content filters multiple times per day. It's standard practice.

No, all it would take is Musk issuing an order to stop filtering. A couple of clicks of the keyboard and the info flows.

Twitter Files 2 just confirmed another conspiracy theory.

I'm glad Bari Weiss is sharing with us all users that were impacted by this and not selectively choosing a few that would satisfy the presumption they held prior to this. Thank god she's using this opportunity to enlighten the public and not selectively pick information to share so that she can drive users to her substack. Imagine if she only tweeted a few accounts and didn't release a full look into all accounts that were subject to any of these controls? Boy oh boy!

lmao I remember the day when I was told not to trust anything Twitter put out but no no it's different this time because....Bari Weiss is picking what she wants to share it's better!

When the full details can get shared I would love to read it.

Your response says a lot. Don't deflect with an ad hominem attack against Bari Weiss. The evidence is the evidence - this is factual data.

You stated that Twitter did not shadow ban users. This evidence proves you wrong.
You claimed that executives would have to be involved. This evidence proves that they were.
You claimed that manipulating visibility would require code changes that would violate SOC II compliance. This evidence proves you wrong.
You mocked Project Veritas who reported the same thing in 2018. This evidence proves Project Veritas correct and you incorrect.

So answer this simple question with one word: was Twitter shadow banning users, yes or no?

But we need info on all users… not just the ones that accused Twitter of targeting them.

You read your other "I identify..." post where you threw a temper tantrum, right? lol don't try to parent me. I don't dispute what she is posting, I would like to see the full amount of users that were in these categories. Wouldn't it be stronger to release the full list of users that were part of these lists? Did the panama papers get leaked with only a select few from one side?

I would like to see the full report and/or lists. This would be like if Jim Acosta took the Panama Papers and listed out only a select few.

I dont dispute this. But Twitter Files #1 acknowledged the Trump campaign was engaged in some similar behavior, albeit the benefit skewed one way.

Twitter Files #2 seems to show that the internal stuff harm the same group as Twitter files #1. Once again, from a prominent respected liberal journalist.

If we take Twitter Files #1 at face value, might be worth asking yourself why you don't take Twitter Files #2 at face value as well...

I mean the Trump campaign stuff was ~5% of the tweets that Tabibi posted that were in a similar screenshot style format. I also don't think a Trump admin member angerly emailed someone at Twitter as nefarious and bad.

I don't take selective screenshots as face value, I would like to see the same source documents that Tabibi and Weiss are picking and choosing from. Like I mentioned above, if this was Jim Acosta with the Panama Papers only listing conservatives would we just accept that or ask to see the entire list?
