Who cares? What has the GOP succeeded in "conserving" since WWII? The party has no positive ideological content to offer in opposite to the DNC; just a superficial promise to "own the libs" while making as much money in the process as possible. And watch, they end describing whatever fresh madness the revolutionaries are currently demanding as a "blessing of liberty" within a decade. Worse than useless.
I don't know who came up with the quote but something about conservatism being liberalism with their foot on the brakes or something like that.

I try to stay optimistic. They don't really have to offer anything but stopping things right now. '24 I'd like to see a more positive type of campaign. But for this fall... why bother?

Were you better off under a GOP administration or this one?

Which state economies are recovering faster and stronger?

Which kind of judges and appointees are we getting now Vs then?

Don’t pretend they are all the same.

I'm guessing many here will be upset LePen lost.
Putin is highly upset LePen lost. Nativist, isolationist Vlad sucker.

This is GREAT NEWS for Ukraine, and this enhances the likelihood that the EU and NATO will stick together ever more,
and they may be able to take more united, transEuropean steps to wean themselves from Soviet oil.

There was some powder being kept dry until the French election was complete.
Lukashenko, in Belarus faces 97% of the population who do not want Belarus to join Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Every day, Vlad more isolated, more pissed off.

Who would that be? Macron is the first to win reelection in 20 years. Good for him as it brings stability. Dude doesn't like Putin. He also had the balls to cry foul when Biden screwed him over with the sub deal.

If we had a lot more 50/50 congressional districts, we would get away from some of the extreme right and left positions. Far too many "protected" districts.

Why would we care?
There is a famous, albeit apocryphal story about the Lone Ranger and Tonto.

They are riding along in a hole, a flat area, between two prominent mesas.

Lone Ranger looks up and sees a number of Apache warriors, war paint, brandishing weapons, bows and arrows, horses snorting and leaping.

They ride along another quarter mile and look up at the other mesa's rim and see a bunch of Comanches, war painted, horses rearing and snorting, brandishing................

The Lone Ranger declares "Tonto we have a problem!"

Tonto retorts "What do you mean 'WE' Kemo Sabe"

Well, drayer 54 when you say "Why would we care?" what do you mean by WE?

Whoa, hold on a second....counting mail in ballots is cool now?

If there isn't a highly doctored Project Veritas video, is there actually voter fraud?

Until Jack Posobiec says there is voter fraud I won't believe it, he's very trustworthy with a strong track record. Release the kraken!

I was happy to see that Democratic Consultants didn't learn their lesson with Amy McGrath in Kentucky 2020 and kept on keeping on with Conor Lamb in Pennsylvania 2022. Should be a hoot to see which corporate neoliberal Joe Manchin dingleberry they try propping up in 2024 for a Senate seat only to waste more millions of dollars on.

It’s politics fellas…….if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em…….to beat ‘em. When it comes to power and money, it’s all the same game. It’s been that way since humans first walked the earth.

we are all guilty of this at one point or another but to think one party has the moral high ground over the one we don’t like has been around as a philosophy for as long as politics has been around.

Pick whichever one you agree with and refuse to think otherwise:

No, only the Republican Party has ne’er do wells who possess questionable morals/ethics and will do anything to win an election. I’m shocked any Dems ever win a elected office since they have to battle the criminals from the opposing party while they adhere to all the rules and ethics.
