Devastated.

Changing demographics + Electoral College = end of modern Republican Party

That's not a bad thing, but I am not looking forward to another four years of this celebrity acting as President.

Last election, it was said that the Republican's main goal going forward would be to stop a second term for Obama.

Well... since Obama can't have another term, maybe their goal will be to help America this time...

We can only hope.

Dick Morris is a joke. He had a Romney landslide this election. And...a McCain win last time. Why does he have a job?

Maybe this will make them realize that siding with religious extremists doesn't appeal to independents at all. Follow the steps of Chris Christie and Mitch Daniels instead of Rick Santorum and Rick Perry.

I think it would be huge if they took up the incarceration rate as a platform issue and went for cuts to the military. But for some reason they like to talk about the sanctity of marriage more???

I think Mitt can still win the popular vote.

Not likely, but I guess it's possible.

I find all of the electoral college hate coming from the right pretty comical considering they didn't care when GW didn't win the popular, but got the presidency with the electoral.

No problems with it back then...

Which Kennedy? Teddy seemed ok when he passed.

You know who I mean. Look, if you think any great president could come back and look at the complete mess this country is in and say 'Yeah, this is a good situation.' then I dont know what to say. I didnt say that Obama is solely to blame or even democrats. But they did their part just as much as republicans did. JFK was a great president and was fiscally responsible and lets be honest, comparing him go Teddy is an insult.

This. Regardless of who won this election, our elected officials from both parties have got to function beyond their partisan ways. It's embarrassing and utterly unproductive.

Ha.. and do you think Teddy Roosevelt would be a Republican today? The guy that made our national parks wouldn't exactly be happy with the Republicans wanting to hand them over to private entities to mine and drill for oil.

JFK and Ted (Kennedy) were lifelong friends and JFK's voting record is clearly liberal to today's standards.

It's funny because college kids love libertarian stuff but hate the religious fundamentalism with marriage. It seems like a dog in people clothes could run a party better than republicans are doing right now.
