Yeah, I was in a haze after the OU game and forgot it was Sunday night until like...12am
I've got Dominate next this week. I sent him a PM last night to try and set it up. Just thought I'd drop a message here too in case he forgets. I'm good anytime Tues/Wed after 6pm est.

Also, anyone thought about the offseason yet? Are we all staying in the AAC or are we going to be free to take big jobs (if we are offered, of course)?

I'm planning on staying with Memphis to see if I can build them up...but that'll depend if I can keep my job. I've got some Juco's signed for next year already to try and help improve the team. We're pretty bad right now though at an average of 70s across the board.


btw, Louisville hasn't contacted me about a game still. I may need to play the computer. I'll keep checking my PMs tonight and this thread.

I'd like to build up the AAC too, but I don't think everyone should necessarily stay in the conference. Maybe no more than 4 in there. We can still schedule some OOC games against each other if thats not enough user games. Can't really build it up if we're cannibalizing each other

Well, Andy beat me in every stat category except for rushing yards (by a slim margin) and turnovers... and that was the difference in a UC victory. What a game.

It took a 4th down conversion (which I converted on a miracle after hitting the wrong button under pressure lol) from the 37 yard line with 30 seconds left to put me in range, but I put a short field goal through the uprights as time expired.

Were you using an o-lineman at TE in certain packages, or was that a defender? #58 or something

He's a center; depth issues. I've milked a lot of production out of a few players. My roster is totally ****ed. Houston only has two TE, my stud Xavier and a guy I elected to red-shirt. It's painfully obvious in some packages that I'm running because that fatty can't run or catch for ****. Probably going to run more spread down the stretch because of lack of depth for my offense.

Going back to Ultimate Team games, lol. You would NOT want to play my UT team.

Ugh, my defense frustrates me the last two weeks. For the last two games I've faced teams that are heavy with passing: Louisville and USF. While Memphis is a cupcake, I'd still like to see my defence coax at least a punt or two out of these teams if I'm putting 5-6 DBs on the field to cover the receivers. It's just not happening though. Bridgewater torched me 20-22 for nearly 300 yards. Then it got ugly as I started passing more since my defense wasn't stopping anything...and passing is not Memphis's strong suit, INTs ensued. They don't have the weapons, and the blocking is pretty shoddy (Best lineman is like...72 overall lol).

Personnel issues; I feel for you. Going to take at least another season for our teams to not suck on the talent level aspect, sans Louisville.

Ok. I just went back and checked. Dre1919 and I played on Wednesday evening of the update, which means Flip-Nasty- and I had to wait until Sunday evening for the advance. Which brings us to TODAY! We skipped an advance. My team just got hosed!

Hey, wait! I think you're mistaken, I've got a game scheduled with Connecticut for this week 15...unless you're trying to setup a Consolation Bowl or something. Still, Memphis didn't do too shabby, all things considered. 3-4 in Conference play thus far isn't too bad when your team's roster is ranked straight 70s across the board. 3-4 is almost middle of the road for this conference.

We can definitely get in some practice whenever you'd like, just give me a shout. Oh, and me too. I think that's part of my problem...I'm super competitive and I get a bit tense...I need to just relaaaax. LOL

Last place secured. Well, time to rebound. I need a few more players and a better overall approach. Normally I run a pro style offense, which is the type of personnel I have at UCF. I've been running a spread read-option offense which obviously bombed this season. Depending on whether or not I get an athlete that FAU of all people jumped over me for that may have to change. UCF will rise once again gentlemen.
