Memphis lost a hard fought battle with Cincinnati. It brought the highest passing yards of the season for Memphis, but conversely it also equated to the fewest rushing yards since the Houston game. Cincinnati brought a strong rushing attack that the Tigers couldn't ultimately contain as Cincinnati racked up 170 yards on the ground. In the end, Memphis had ball control problems giving up 4 turnovers to 0 for Cincinnati and it sealed a 31-21 loss for Memphis. The Tigers fall to 2-5, 2-2 in the AAC. Cincinnati moves up to 7-1, and 3-1 in the AAC.

I just saw the award semi finalist list. I was very surprised not many of our players were in the running. My team Rutgers only had one player that was for best TE.

You shouldn't be surprised... We are not offensive powerhouses and we play solid players every week. Way better competition than the computer and their 500 yd a game aerial threats or 300 yd a game rushing attack.

You guys know the country's #1 defense lives in the AAC, right? And that's only because their head coach drinks neck blood and scares a vastly under-athletic bunch to success out of fear from become the target of coaches mire.

DominateDomers and I tried to play our game on Monday, but the game would just stall once we both hit ready. It wouldn't freeze, it would just stay on the same screen until we backed out. Maybe we can try again sometime today.

Had a battle with BKess that was closer than the final indicated. Took a 14-0 lead into halftime behind a solid run game, but his SMU squard rallied for a quick score to open the second half. His defense stuffed my run game on the next two possessions and he was winning a crucial field position battle looking for the tying score. However, on a 3rd and 5 near my own 20, my QB ripped off a huge run after a broken tackle and gave me the breathing room I needed to get another score and chew clock through the fourth quarter for the win.

Tough game? Dre and I smashed a 7-6 rain game. It was ugly, but vicious.

dominate_domers and I tried to get our game in again tonight, but it still wouldn't work for us. First, it told me that the online dynasty wasn't available and it made me restart my game pretty much because I was stuck on the screen. Once I restarted, we were both in the team selection screen and once we both readied up, it just kept us in that screen. It didn't freeze my console or anything, it just had us sitting there. Each time we've tried to play, the same thing happened. I don't know what's going on with it.

Andy and I's game was pretty epic. Just a hard fought, colossal heavyweight bout. The weather surprisingly didn't play a huge factor though) no fumbles...some dropped passes but not much. Mostly jarred loose. Great game.

You had a very good game plan. As evident by the 4 picks I threw under a relentless pass rush. While there are a couple balls that were pried out of receiver's hands (like the last 2 passes that would have sealed the game for Dre), two plays stand out in my mind as game changers.

1) I didn't see a corner in a short zone on the field side flat while deep in my own territory and threw right to him trying to check down on excellent coverage. Hit him right in the hands; dropped ball. Would have been a pick-6 for sure. Did everything, but put a bow on it.

2) I hot routed my slot receiver to a slant over the middle to make for first and goal from the 8ish (since you were starting to blanket my starting TE on the seam route, so I was using him to 'clear out' the MIKE). Initially caught for first and goal, dropped it when the DB sneezed on him (it was seriously almost no contact).

There were half a dozen plays where it would have changed the outcome of the game. Doubly so for decisions (TIMEOUTS!). As Dre said, just a knock down, drag out, slug fest.

I can't WAIT until we have filled out skill trees. Also, year 2 recruiting will be way easier! I need Mike Vick Jr. to graduate from high school and sign with the Cougars with his best friend, Darren McFadden II.

P.S. To continue with the boxing analogies, Storm Johnson is the real deal Holyfield. Opponents beware.

EA just announced that they will NOT publish a college football game next year. I has a sad.

Time to start buying unopened copies of NCAA14 lol.

Someone will release files for '14 to "mod" it to '15. Mark it down.

I hope you're right. I would love to see a diehard fan create a patch that puts in a playoff system to go along with the bowl games.

Maybe we should take a page out of the Operation Sports playbook and have an IE team devoted to revamping the NCAA14 rosters every year.

Unnecessary duplication of work that I certainly don't have time for. Operation Sports will keep doing what they do..

This should probably be discussed in the generic, non-PS3 dynasty NCAA 14 thread..

His record is certainly not indicative of his skill level. Lest we forget his team in last year's dynasty. Dre is a player.

I'm in love with ultimate team. If it wasn't for player versus player games like this, I wouldn't play in an online dynasty.

Props Andrew; I'm not looking forward to our next match-up. My friend, Chris was here with me when we played (he's the ******* who was playing while I was at work, faking you out that I was on) and before we played I told him I expected a very evenly matched game that was going to be very tight.

Might not have got the breaks, but you got the respect.

Aw thanks for all the props guys, I really appreciate that! Believe me, like I told ulukinatme, one of the best parts of these IE dynasties is that you have to bring it because everyone here is a baller for sure. I've played this game since it came out in 1996 I think? But, almost exclusively with a couple buddies of mine. One is good, the other is great.

But, the only problem with that is you get used to playing them and then you start to get used to their tendencies. You have to adapt to playing online players. This stretches my skill level so much. I never play the online random matches because the players there, while good in their own right, perform too much cheese to really glean any good practice against. Ultimate team is better for getting live practice, but you definitely have to play a lot to keep the coins for re-upping some players.

BTW, here is a photo of the trophy we used to use for our local dynasty.

Sadly we haven't found the time to continue it with all of us moving and working. But, for a solid two years and probably seven seasons apiece we used to put an engraved plate on it for each season's national champion. We should have thought of doing this back in lie 2000...we'd have a Stanley Cup looking trophy by now! This wasn't expensive to create either...My brother made the base, I bought the guy from Hobby Lobby for $5 and each plate is $5 from a company I use in Pennsylvania. A FANTASTIC and fun thing to trade around to the current champ's house!

Make no mistake, y'all are some damn good players. Heart pounding games, believe me. I just hope I don't get fired!

Cincinnati defeats Rutgers 24-21. CLOSE game down to the wire! I've gotta give props to The Cincinnati squad, they're a great program. I made some play calling decisions that cost my team the win for sure.

I'm there too. I just got my first win against the CPU last week (FCS opponent actually. QB was still pretty money despite running Quarter defenses and 3-3-5 Stack).

Dominate hasn't contacted/responded to me over PSN or here on IE. Going to hold advance a few hours while I watch some Sunday T.V... if Domer doesn't contact me I'm going to set him to away mode so I can play his squad instead of ruining my season with a sim I would certainly lose.

This goes for anyone; if you don't contact/respond to your opponent, I'll set you to away so you're not screwing your opponent. They'll still have to beat your team, but you've opted out from play calling.

EDIT: Ulukinatme, go play your game against USF!!!! I'll be up late tonight and the last two things I am doing is playing my game (against Dominate, or just his team) and advancing the dynasty. LATE NIGHT FOOSBALL PARTAY; DO EEET.

Got my game done against USF. Probably my worst defensive game ever. Gave up 55 points! (There was one pick 6 that was on my offense) Gave up 300 yards passing, CPU was 25 of 27 and I was setting up to stop the pass every frickin' play. I tried Dime, Quarters, 3-3-5, basically anything I had with 5 or more DBs on the field. Man defense, Zone, predicting Pass every play, bringing pressure or dropping 8, didn't matter. So frustrating They did end up running for 100 yards too, but most of it was in garbage time when they decided to run the clock out. Really not sure what else I could have done there.
