Duke will show where this team ends up at the end of the year. It will be the first game of the year ND doesn’t take the field with the better QB.

ND wins by 10+ I feel confident they can win out. If it’s a game similar to this, no chance the season is anything more that 9-3.

I've had this (healthy) debate many of times on this website plenty of times with plenty of great posters on here.
I will believe an 11-1 ND team makes a (four team) playoffs when it happens.
I just don't see it, unless absolute chaos happens.
Clemson losing today, was a big negative to our SOS.

No you just have too many quality teams. Texas I think makes the playoffs, you could have Washington, USC, Oregon, Michigan, Penn State, Ohio State, Florida State. I think only SEC team that has a shot is Georgia. So right now you have 8 teams playing for 4 spots I think if we win out there’s a great chance because we will knock out USC and lost by 6 inches.

The Pac-12 will cannibalize each other like they always do. And of course we're only in the conversation after USC loses to us. If Ohio State can beat Michigan by more than a last-second 11-on-10 goal line play, that'd sure help. And Michigan plays no one else so that loss kills them. SEC will only send one this year, probably Georgia or LSU. Mostly we'd need someone to knock off either Texas or FSU, and then you'd have...
