I have a feeling Floyd is gonna stay. He will ve ranked around the third or fourth best reciever in the draft and woukd fall into the second round.

The last couple projection boards I looked at had him in the 7-10 range. I respectfull disagree with the boards, but hey they are the ones called pro's.

Floyd will not be lower than the #5 wide receiver and I would be surprised if Jon Baldwin went before him.

Is it official that Luck is coming out?

I haven't seen anything and I didn't think he would make a decision until well after their bowl game.

Hopefully the NFL will have the lockout and Floyd and Rudolph decide to stay. Go Irish!

this may be the only thing that saves us here...i fear they may both head off, unless the threat of a lockout starts to become very real...sure hope they both stay...what a pair of athletes

Aka 2nd round. And Baldwin will go before him. Floyd has yet to stay healthy for a full year.

More than 3 receivers will go in the 1st round. Floyd stayed healthy this year besides that one game with the hamstring. He's more talented than every other receiver in this draft besides Julio Jones and AJ Green. He'll go between 20-30.

When is the last time 3 recievers were taken in the 1st round? Not being a smartass, im being serious. It doesn't happen often. Floyd is not a first round pick at this point.

Six WR's were taken in the 2009 NFL draft.

Blackmon? I LOVE Floyd, but Blackmon belong on that list too. And I really want him and Rudolph to stay. I think if Floyd had a season next year similar to this years he would greatly improve his draft. The fact that next years WR draft class is projected to be much slimmer if for no other reason.

Wow, that's a crazy amount. Last year, there was only one taken (Bryant) in the 1st rpund, and in 2008 there was a grand total of zero WRs taken in the first round (and then there were 9 taken in the 2nd round!). But then in 2007, there were 6 taken in the 1st round. So obviously, anything can happen in the draft...

Where do you thank Floyd would go? I think Rudolph would be a late first, early second round steal.

Luck is gone. If he stays in school, scouts will go all Taylor Mays/Jake Locker/INSERT GUY WHO FELL FOUR ROUNDS FOR COMING BACK INSTEAD OF CASHING IN ON THE HYPE FOR A MUCH BIGGER AND LONGER PAYDDAY/ and find every single possible flaw.

I just saw a mock draft that had both of our guys going in the second. There are 5 good recievers that depending on who u ask Floyd is top three to five. Aj green and juio jones are the top two but Baldwin Floyd and blackmon are 3-5. I think Loyd may be the best all around wr with his blocking greatly improved but I think he could have a monster year next year with a A second year in this system and Kyle is coming off a major surgery so he will fall. I hope for everyones benefit they come back

I think 2nd round round (he's way too good to fall past the 2nd round...if Dwayne Jarrett - who many knew didn't translate to the pro game - was a 2nd round pick, then Michael Floyd is at least that high), simply because he's not a burner (deceptive speed though), and the NFL is in love with speed. I think you're right w/ Rudolph; late 1st round steal. You simply don't see guys his size (he's HUGE) with his skill set. The only reason he might slip is because he won't be able to work out at the combine b/c of his hamstring injury.

If I was a GM of any NFL team I would be salivating over both of these guys. Floyd showed what he could do in Charlie's pro offense, running a bunch of fades/go's/deep hitches, and now has shown what he can do in Kelly's blocking/shorter more precise routes....and Rudy is a freak that doesn't come around all that often, w/ that size, speed, hands combo....I think anyone getting either in the 2nd round would have to be ecstatic...All that said, of course I hope they both come back, or are drafted by the Chiefs.

Rudolph is going to be like Jeremy Shockey circa his first few years in the league. Except Rudolph isn't quite the same as Shockey--he's going to enjoy not just a long career, but a productive one as well.

Until Floyd can run routes, he wont be considered a first round pick. There's a reason why he doesnt take passes over the middle of the field. His route running leaves so much to be desired and they've been masking it with short outs, go-routes and fades his whole career. He's bigger than almost every d-back he's faced in his whole CAREER and he lacks an imposing physical presence. He tries to outjump everybody and until the game against USC I just didnt see him putting his hands or arms on the defender down the field in an effective manner. How else does a 5'9" corner get an interception on you at a pivotal moment in the Tulsa game...the second u see how underthrown that ball was, you do everything you can to ruin that play on the ball, even if its a offensive pass interference your still in range for Ruffer. At 6'4 227 with GREAT hands there is nobody in that secondary that should be able to get with you.

Floyd at his best is a 1st rounder but after his performance this year, I wouldn't hold my breath till at least the 3rd. He'd be wise to come back and put together a more productive year.

Floyd isn't even close to a first rounder after his performance this year. With Rudy it depends a lot on how they see the injury and team need. Best case scenario for ND is a lockout and they come back.

Rudy: Possible early 2nd round. (more likey middle of the round)
Floyd: Late 2nd or early third.

Floyd didn't show off too much this year. And the hamstring issue with Kyle is not helping his cause. Plus he's had multiple nagging health issues.

Hopefully this is how the NFL scouts them, that way they come back and show off there stuff!!
