A note for future PSU games - WTF are you doing wearing an ND white jersey or t-shirt to an ND/PSU game? Lots of folks need to do better.

PSU fans around us left after the Gray INT - battered fan syndrome man. We still needed to get into FG range! Totally bolted with 30 seconds left and overtime probable more than possible.

Loud and obnoxious yelling back at us the whole game - grown man yelling in the direction of a 12 year old right behind him ffs. Overall, not a positive impression of their fan base as a bunch of punchable twats. I hope Franklin stays there forever.

On TV, it looked like 70-30 white. But it sounded more like 55-45.

I was thinking maybe that person runs the clock for NFL games typically? Maybe they just weren't used to stopping for first downs? It was horrible.

I'll confess, I was very pessimistic going into halftime and allowed myself to miss half the 3rd. I completely forgot that what though the odds be great or small, ole Notre Dame will win over all. Allow this to be my penance, brothers. Go Irish

Congrats to everyone, this is the Notre Dame which was truly missed and which I only heard of, I started to follow ND in 96.

I can't say, that we were way worse than Penn State in the first half, first drives were relatively even, but then more thing started to click on Penn State's side, and I expected just the opposite before the game. RL intercepted, our interceprion denied, field goal PSU, tochdown PSU, time is running off and frustration and scare that the fairy tale of this team may end today are building up. Those peaked at the moment, when RL got concussion and Angeli had to go, had somebody told me at that time, that it is actually one of the moments that are going to decide the game in our favour...

I hope for the best, but right now it is less relevant to me who the opponent will be and how the game will end. I know, the guys will put a fight and I will be just happy to see this team on the field one more time! Go Irish!

I had a completely different experience with Penn St fans. They were very friendly around us.

Agree on the white-wearing ND fans. No situational awareness.

To add to that, the down and distance on the stadium scoreboard was in complete disarray all game long. On NDs 4th down before kicking the game winning FG, they had the down listed as 3rd down.

The refs had equal problems. They kept spotting the ball yards behind where it actually was.

Mentioned this multiple times. Cost us several seconds to end the 1st half that I don't think the refs put back on the clock, unlike the 2nd half.

Seemed to get loud for the ND offense. May have lead to that delay of game in 2H. On the other hand, the smaller Nd contingent made their presence known as well.

My Irish fans ... what...a...game! I don't smoke, but I needed a cigarette after that one. A few points / takeaways:

- Piggybacking off of my Georgia post-game response, this, again, was just a complete, total team win. It truly is remarkable. This team just refuses to quit. During the first half, I thought they were spent. I thought they were out of gas and had a good run. Penn State was the much more physical and dominant team. They were really taking it to the Notre Dame defense and the offense wasn't a threat at all. Then, it got worse ... the freshman tackle goes down and RL goes down shortly thereafter. However, the fucking stones on Angeli to come in and play to that level! It is so, so understated, but he came in, cool, calm, poised, determined, and confident. He had a great drive and got the Irish some much-needed points.
- The Irish go into the locker room and i don't know if Columbian yayo was passed around or what, but they come out refreshed, rejunivated, and pissed the hell off. They really, really took it to Penn State. That TD from Love was unbelievable - he, again, refused to quit. Williams had a phenomenal run and catch. Leonard really turned it around. Clark made a phenomenal pass breakup. Sneed and Bowen were extremely physical. I specifically noticed #97 and while he doesn't appear to be overly talented, he just didn't quit. He played with pure heart and just gave it everything.
- Does Greathouse have a personal vendetta against Penn State?
- Jeter is fucking money.

I can go on and on. Unreal game. Unreal win. GO IRISH. GO WIN THIS WHOLE FUCKING THING, MEN!
