You can tell he felt confident they had ND figured out—which they did, for a half. He wasn’t counting on the sheer guts and mental focus to grind it out and reinvent themselves for the second half, which if he paid more attention to prep and coaching than bitching he might have had his QB ready to not suck down the stretch.
