RL & Allar both had 23 pass attempts. Leonard had a better completion percentage & threw for more yards. Riley had two bad INTs but let’s be honest….Allar should’ve had two INTs.

PSU outrushed ND 204 to 116. PSU’s OL was better than UGA’s OL

As great as Tyler Warren is & as frustrating as it was to watch him make plays, he had 6 receptions for 75 yards and zero TDs. Looking back at what he did all season, that’s pretty damn impressive.

How can a team be this ravaged, down multiple guys in the trenches, lose the LOS pretty soundly in this game, and manage to win? Lots of heart and grit in this bunch, and an outstanding coaching staff. Major kudos to Freeman for keeping them level and in this when down 10-0. And outstanding work by Steve Angeli, Tosh Baker and Charles Jagusah. Without them stepping up, this game would have been a loss. A lot to clean up on the LOS play, and a lot of injuries to nurse, but, from the NIU debacle to 60 minutes from a national championship? No one would have believed it.

Also - Penn State WRs did not catch a pass tonight. Major props to Christian Gray and Leonard Moore for locking that down.

Lost the turnover margin, LOS, TOP (just because of the last play), had more penalties, etc....and still won with 3/5 of the starting lineup from August 1 injured....and are 60 minutes from hoisting the most legit national title in the history of the sport.

1. Did people consider the penalty on the Kiser pick to be a rough penalty. I had the volume down and I was furious but I thought it was the right call or at least a fair call (as in it could have gone either way).

My post-game reaction is the same as Cowherd's, this may have been one of the best college football games played. At least in the modern era during win or go home time.

There are lots of good games that end up being just jockeying for seeding or random awesome games between teams not in contention.

This was an objectively exciting game with defense, momentum swings, big plays, etc. A backup QB making a meaningful cameo. Late turnover with just about a walkoff field goal. Holy smokes. What a war and great fight from the FIGHTING Irish
