This should not be surprising, back in November Mark Madden was being interviewed and he brought this up. This is going to get worse then what people imagined.

I wonder if the governor knew about that too and did nothing about it.

Corbett then the ag in 2009 was given the Sandusky case, it went slow. He got donations from the second mile when he knew of major allegations against Sandusky. He also wanted to give land to the Second Mile which cost taxpayers money. It didnt take off until after Corbett was elected in 2010.

Will we see PSU actually get the boot to D1 athletics?

If more people connected to PSU are involved, can't see anything other then that.

Let's see how many support PSU after more news breaks.

I bet two penn state fans last night that they would go 4-8 or worse $50 each last night. At 5 wins no one loses anything and at 6 I would owe them 50 each. I think I made a really good bet, no?

Its a 50-50 call, if penn state keeps losing players then there is a good chance of that happening.

I would definitely made the bet next year (more transfers are gonna happen), or any season after 2013. This year they could easily go .500 or better. The scholarship sanctions don't come in to play until before the 2014 season.

I don't know man, their schedule is dangerously easy. 6-6 doesn't look that difficult.

Ohio is coming off a ten win season, temple is no push over, they will lose to Virginia. They will beat Indiana. I'm struggling finding any other locks for wins outside of Indiana. Let's not forget, they lost their best wide receiver, starting running back who was their offense, and a good amount of their defense to graduation or NFL. I could easily see them only winning 2 OCC games and winning two conference games

If this stuff is out there and real, the clock is still ticking in the Dept of ED stuff AND with the Postal Inspectors involved, everybody is _____ in really deep trouble. Like as in lower than a hole, trouble.

Why wouldn't he have come forward during Sandusky' trial? Not saying that it didn't happen, just wondering.

...hope this isn't true. If it is...WTF man? What job, or whatever your tie is is worth allowing children to be abused...if you are an eye witness...stop it!

The only person who could have turn in Sandusky earlier and would be believeable was Joe Paterno. Everybody would have believed him if he told the authorities.

There were lots of people who could've stopped Sandusky. McQueary, Paterno, the janitors, Curley, and many, many others. Such a same that the abuse went on for decades and no one did a thing.

....no argument there...what about the detectives that HEARD the man all but confess...like I said, no job is worth standing there, or standing down.

And they and the boy's mother all went to the prosecutor where the conclusion was there is no case.

He decided not prosecute...BUT within the theme of the conversation prior...no job...not even being a detective is worth letting it go...sorry, I would have tried to find a way to catch Sandusky, even if it would have cost me my job...

I agree with PH and UPSH. Anyway my dad has a friend who lives in Wyoming who lives in the same town with Joe Tiller. The friend had a dinner with Tiller and wife and other friends. After having a few beers, the friend asks questions to Tiller about Paterno. Tiller responds by saying it was horrible what happened to the kids molested but Paterno did all what was he was suppose to do legally and doesn't deserve criticism. The friend asks Tiller what about morally, Tiller got pissed and left the dinner.

Tiller is a scumbag in my book.
