i'm painting my room today. the top half gold and the bottom half a darker green with a white horizontal stripe seperating them. i thought about going gold and blue, but my room is blue now so green was the way to go. the gold is sweet, too. it's some gold granite paint with gold crystals mixed in so it'll give the gold a little shine to it. yeah! lol

At work, all of the "higher ups" got to choose the color schemes for their offices. Of course, went Navy blue and gold.

When I was a kid, I redid my room in Notre Dame colors. I had my parents put in dark blue carpeting, painted the walls gold. Got a gold ceiling fan and painted the blades dark blue. Then I hung the Notre Dame National Championship banners that you can buy at the bookstore and other ND pictures on the walls. I thought it was pretty cool back then.

Yeah my old room from my childhood is still dressed up in ND colors. It has dark blue carpet, white walls with Notre Dame Border, ND curtains and those ND blinds you can buy that show the leprechaun when you shut them...as well as a few pictures and posters. I miss that room. Many times in the last 5 years did i want to take some things down but never have and never will

Yeah, about four summers ago while I was gone at camp, for my birthday my mom redid my bedroom and decked it out with notre dame stuff, we're talking new carpet, new wallpaper, it was amazing. The pattern on my walls is the gold and then three blue stripes like the adidas stripes going around.

I want the dark blue carpet with the ND logo like the locker room in the den....but alas the wife said no. Now that it seems that we are divorcing I should just go for it now.

Is there a place where you can buy dark blue carpet with the ND logo, or is it something you have to get custom made? Does anybody know?
